The most effective type of mind control.

I was trying to find out the most effective way to mind control someone.  I eventually decided that this would be to strip someone of their senses before rebuilding the world to their own advantage. So ill describe the process to you.

First the person takes your hearing. You are at first listening to someone singing, talking, maybe even rapping, all that matters is that they are making noise. As soon as you register the first few words the voice is all you can hear. Then, tyour on the ground. You let the voice in, into every inch of yourself, and know it's a sharp weight that has you on the ground ears trying to block it out but you already let it in, your at its mercy now. 

You lose your taste next. You have blood in your mouth. The metallic taste is what gives it away. The blood is the same temperature of your mouth and no matter how much you sob, your mouth is always full. Some people bite their tongue, in panic or maybe to protect themselves in some odd ploy no one knows, they do know that it speeds up the process though.

Next its your sight. You are in so much pain by now your vision is going spotty anyway, but for what ever reason you are still feeling it all. The hot blood coming from your ears l, what feels like a water fall but looks like a red spit coming out of your mouth. You still are aware, even though everything is red and black. 

The next sense is smell, simply enough you can't smell with blood in your nose, the same as your eyes, ears, and mouth.

Lastly you lose your touch. This is a relief to you. You didn't want to feel any of that any more. As far as you can tell, you are nothing more than a conscious. That's not true though. This final step to a perfect mind control can go two ways. You can stop here and the puppet the still breathing body. The person who inhabits it gone. This is good for short jobs or if you want something. The other way is to reconstruct the reality. Make singing sound like a man walking down stairs to where you are, make blood taste like saliva as you think of the treat you smell downstairs, the world looks like the break room that you've been waiting to go to and the key goes in the keyhole to let you out. You want to go on break.

The side effect is that the person who can do this loses touch with their own reality the more they do this at once. This makes the person uncontrollably violent, unable to tell right from wrong, and willing to do anything for what they want. They have to use their power to save their friends but might just kill them in the process.

Short and simple Siren AU

Kinda chessy but Siren!Nico,

Siren! Nico always feel terrible about having to feed, his sister would always do the work so he didn't have to but he still felt bad. After his sister's death he suddenly realized Not only was he mourning the death of someone he loves but he's going to have to kill someone to. Part of his loyalty to Midas was that he would get him food so he wouldn't have to do the actual killing. Once you realize how manipulative might as well as he immediately cut them off. He was starting to starve when he saw a group of people on the shore, Makoto it's been a traveler so he didn't even know where he was at this point. He went over listened to what they were saying, it was a group of friends and what seems like a dating couple the friends walked off towards the pier and the man suddenly switched and starts being really cruel to his girlfriend then immediately apologizing. Nico gets pissed. He knows what he's doing but he's too hungry to stop himself when he's already halfway out the water. That's when he started to sing the girl ran off immediately but that was all right She wasn't the target. Has he came out of the water The Man became transfixed before he knew it he was walking into the water himself poison dripping from his mouth. He had his first meal in months then and for once he didn't feel bad.

Until that's what he started to always do. Instead of just aiming for whoever seemed weakest he would aim for whoever was the cruelest and for some reason he stayed on a stretch of Beach outside of a small little town. He knew of other Sirens who did this for this was only for whenever they found their hunting ground. He later realized this was now his and so year after year he'll go to a new small town by a Beach and start killing off the cruel people until they start bringing them to him he only ate as he needed but didn't feel bad anymore.

 One time when he was going from the old town that had stopped feeding him he noticed a group of people following him as he swam. He tried to ignore that first but it was always there every time he made a kill and every time someone killed for him. One day his curiosity overcame him. And that day he sang for the car to come to him and they didn't they didn't even fight back like they normally did. He decided that they simply knew their fate but once he got close enough to see through the car he realized there was no resilience because no one was in it so he put it back and waited. Little did he know the group of people who had been in that van had been other not exactly human creatures who had been watching him in hopes for their own answers while other ones in the group had simply been obsessed with creatures. By the time they came home to see you the footage of their car being pulled into the water, the pedal pushing themselves and the steering wheel never moving. They had finally gotten the proof they needed But they are always been wondering if he was a good thing or not. The town's always seemed to use him as a judgment of some sort. Bringing kind men down to prove they're kind Or to proves that there killers, Nico always knew the truth. They Decide not to post it. At least until they met with him themselves. I mean they have been following him for 2 to 3 years at this point he seemed to age like anyone else and he had earned at least to explain himself. So one day they went out to find him. They did not. They tried again and again and again but it never worked at least it didn't work until the boy from the town they had been visiting at the time had the bright idea to sing the sirens song. It was the first time they had ever truly seen him all of their previous footage had been corrupted they only had the voice to go off of and the Blob in the water that seem to slightly get bigger with age. He refused to talk at first and they couldn't even see past the top of his head. But slowly they got him to trust the little group and they all eventually got him to talk. He explained he doesn't have to be in the water he can go a few months without being in water the same amount of time you can go without feeding, He's just never left it before. Eventually the townsfolk see will talking to the siren and he is forced out of the town, but that's alright the two cars full of people and the boy in the water was enough as long as he got to see his family every once in awhile. Nico still has to feed but he hasn't felt guilt in years especially not with his family.

Why Nico Di Angelo is insanely OP

shadow manipulation is such an op power like without everything else he can do, if in dark areas he can control people by having shadows pull an arm or leg, in like an office he could pull the shadows from around the room in a single spot not only letting him do whatever he wanted but also bringing reality into a 2D PLANE OF EXISTENCE, and, wait for it, a person's organs are in complete darkness. He could crush a lung, block it off, or maybe just cut one causing internal bleeding and iment death. Or on the other side of the spectrum, he could force someone's heart to keep beating. He could postpone someone's death for as long as he wants! He could get any information he wanted. Nico is so OP and I am only talking about shadow manipulation.

i can stop imagining a mortal pointing a gun at nico and him just laughing, the fella getting worked up and screaming at him before nico makes a finger gun and mimics how the fella is holding his gun and nico bringing the finger gun to his head and them being forced to follow before nico "pulls the trigger" and suddenly all of the attackers are dead while he just stands there covered in blood smiling.

Mafia AU

This one starts with the idea that nico was hunting/saving people during the blank periods (when we don’t know what he was doing).  Nico first was always having the people he helped live as close to normal lives as possible, but as he saved more and more he realized just how many people wanted to join the fight as well as the kids he wanted to help more than sending them into the system. So he slowly started growing his own group. The majority of them were people who had been put through a traumatic event due to monsters.

Communicators would find information on specific monsters, figure out what they're fighting, or call in for backup if someone's fight was going wrong. They also did alibis. Then there are Watchers people who find the cases and give them to the communicators to give to one of the fighters. They also looked out for bigger signs and if there was something particularly concerning they would send it to Nico, though for the most part he wasn't there that often, he was mainly doing his own jobs or living his own life though everyone knew he was the boss. Lastly there are protectors these are the people who aren't necessarily Fighters or researchers but do still want to be helpful from a farther off perspective. These people often help victims get back on their feet, watch over children who has been harmed due to unnatural forces, or they'd help people who are trying to leave the program get better Lives. Nico would be the recruiter per se as whenever someone had been through this and he gave them the monsters are real talk he would say that you can try and continue having a normal life or you can try and fight against these people by joining a part of the group, though it is not very safe. Nico would never lie or tell the partial truth though you'd be surprised how many people want Revenge. He was very picky about who he would tell about this, there are only a few people to start with but as there started to be more Fighters he often found himself looking over files to decide whether or not this person qualifies to join.

This eventually becomes a commonly known thing in the Hunter communities as well as the monster communities though he is very skilled at making sure there are no leaks to the real world. Because of the fact he has all these people working together he is able to slowly bring down the number of cases per year until there's too little for the very large organization, which is when he starts transferring people to the protectors unit since for the most part they don't need as many fighters and the older ones are often happily ready to join. Through this community they also are able to better protect the children of these events If the child is old enough and insists it they get the basic training all the new recruits get but they're only ever accepted into the program if there are monsters actively hunting them as well as them having to meet a age requirement, if they're younger than the age requirement they often get it adopted by other employees.

The police eventually decide that they are serial killer organization but call it a mafia to the public for Simplicity sake but because of how well put together it is and the fact that whenever they are eventually found there's enough of them to fill a small nation, they don't get the chance to really do any harm to them or to learn anything. Throughout the whole time Nico is doing as many cases as the highest level Fighters, doing the research of a watcher has more connections than the connectors, and has more than a few people he's protecting. Plus he's just a good person to all of the workers. The job is mainly hands off as after enough time she knows he can trust the people around him to keep the place stable, so he doesn't talk about it much. Whenever they're doing a Quest the 7 plus say something along the lines of how are we supposed to get into this very prestigious event and Nico already having been a member of the group for a while already has his invite so that they can all come in ready, because " he knows some people ". He was not in the mood to share at the time though he eventually had to come clean about the whole thing and they are both confused and impressed that's who they thought was just a very scary child was in fact the leader of an entire organisation. This is when he realized just how powerful he had become.

He for the most part just answers a odd question here or there but for the most part whenever he's not hunting he's not a part of it. What I mean by for the most part I mean he's not always left alone, there was a time when he got a call in the middle of a meeting between camps and she had to make up an excuse to why he had to walk her out of the room for a moment just to have Reyna not believe him and follow him out, let's just say she was surprised to see the normally calm kid ranting in a different language before taking a breath and saying in English " you've done this so many times why are you trying to get my permission, I was just in the middle of a very important meeting, deal with it yourself ". Let's just say she didn't take its not important as an answer.

He has the most extensive, well kept collection of files information on different creatures and monsters that anyone has ever seen that whenever an outsider comes in for the first time they automatically think that they're in the Library of Congress or something along those lines. The Archives are also a very well-kept place though it is much smaller and a lot of the retirees go there if they want to look into Old cases and see if any of the new information they have might solve it. It's a very very well-kept well-preserved place that you have to have a bar code tattoo (kind of like the sqr I'm missing a letter I'll get back to you later on that( that is very personalized so that whenever you join the team you get your own bar code and file so that if you aren't there with someone who is apart of it who is also allowed to do recruitment, have someone from the inside vouching for you, or in a very rare circumstance have Nico saying you can come in, you're never getting in. 

Shadow Traveling Theories

Alright, so there are several scenes where Nico collapses word gets extremely tired from shadow travel use. More exact he starts to blend into the Shadows, whenever he Shadow travels to much. My theory is it's not the shadow traveling itself that makes him extremely tired but it is the distance that matters.

  I have the idea that it's like he is running with all of the stuff / people he is Shadow traveling with. Because of this he can shadow travel short distances by himself without there being very much of a blow back, probably just him taking a second to breathe. He can also travel to the room next to him without there being any problem and if he shadow travels to the spot directly next to him he doesn't even need to catch his breath. Whenever he shadow travels longer distances he needs more time and needs brakes to breathe and eventually if he Shadow travels far enough then he will collapse from exhaustion because unlike running he doesn’t feel himself getting tired as he goes so he has a tendency to accidentally go a little bit too far. Whenever he Shadow traveled the statue he was carrying not only a huge weight but two people. The weight means less whenever they're in the shadow area in between jumps so it's more along the lines of him sprinting with a grip on all three of them and having to pick them up and put them down whenever he gets to his target. One of the main differences is whenever he's going on an angle instead of straight he gets way more tired much quicker because he's pulling stuff uphill as well as running at the same time, because of this he can accidentally land in the air.

When shadow traveling through objects it feels like a weight pushes against him, the more that he’s traveling through the more weight it feels like is pushing against him.

Whenever he's alone while he's Shadow traveling he normally goes in small bursts anywhere that is secluded but because of the fact he's carrying a lot more weight in the statue situation it was better to do long distances instead of shorter ones.

As long as he is not doing other things as well it doesn't take much out of him to shadow travel around his house instead of going from room to room normally he often does it as a stamina test to see how long he can go before walking. Once he gets good enough at Shadow traveling he's able to tell whenever he needs to take a break, anywhere between a few minutes and a long time depending on the situation, by how much shadow is in his lungs and other things like that since he is able to sense Shadows he was able to find an effective way not to harm himself while moving as fast as possible while he was on his own for those few years.

The texture of a shadow

Whenever he first figured out that he can pick up Shadows he was treating it like a solid item instead of as an idea. For the longest time he wasn't able to pick it up , he was simply able to manipulate it. Once he figured out how to see Shadows he was able to manipulate them as he wanted. He started to be able to scoop up Shadows Whenever there is a lot of them in one spot and he was able to mold them into to whatever he wanted once he figured out how to do this it was easy to turn it into anything that he wanted, literally. With a single wave of his hand he was able to take all of the Shadows from a room and put them in one spot it then change it from a liquid to a solid, making an unbreakable wall.

He was able to make Shadows do anything that he wanted without a second thought, even to the point where he wouldn't notice he was manipulating them until someone brings it to his attention. He was able to start teaching people how to pick up shadow but no one could manipulate it like he could. There were a few kids who could turn it into basic shapes but they had to treat it as a steam of sorts and if they left it for more than a few seconds it would dissipate and act like it had never been there. As well as the majority of kids whose powers were simply to different to be effective at this.

Soon enough he was using shadows as a form of storage, kind of like in the Kane Chronicles, he was recreating weapons that we're lost in battle and he would never be without a weapon because he could make one sooner than a person could disarm him. The only reason the jar was capable of keeping him contained is because the jar itself was emitting light, losing any shadows. 

Hunter!Nico Au

the background of Supernatural basically matches the Rickrordanverse. Rick has the background of if you believe it, it's true while supernatural has the background of Everything Is Real even if it's not if you believe enough and it will be. I believe that this could be interpreted as they all happened in the same verse.

When Nico was first joining The hunting business he was simply doing jobs for his dad and as I said before during the "fighting analysis," he slowly started finding jobs for himself. This one can be simplified to, he became a hunter. He quickly became a very famous Hunter both for his young age, he wouldn't be that much older than 12 at this time, and that he has no problem hunting down monsters. While he wasn't the best at killing them at first, he quickly became very good at it. He became a source, kind of like Bobby was, where hunters would contact him about questions or getting resources.

He got the ability over time to hide objects in the shadows so if a person came to him asking for a weapon to kill such and such he would simply grab something out of the shadows and give it to them, of course he would go into a different room first so that no one knew that he was literally getting them out of thin air, but he was getting the weapons from a storage that only he and his sister could access. the knowledge from his own little library of information, books, and lots of experience made it so that people would often call him, ask him a question about a case that they are in (sometimes in the middle of a fight) and he would respond without questioning give them an answer and any advice he had before hanging up on them and going back to what he was doing.

This made it so that not only does he have more connections than a person can dream, but he also is very powerful in many circles that he shouldn't even be a part of. An example of this is how well he is at finding old cursed objects, especially ones that were lost for a long time. Because of this and the fact that after he would kill monsters that we're living a double life he would make it so that all the properties, money, and items would belong to him he would  Have a very large, very confusing, and very unnecessary collection of many many things.

 In his later years (AKA whenever he actually settled down and stop doing all this) he would give some property, some money, Etc to half-bloods who are trying to live a normal life. He wouldn't lie to them he would tell exactly what happened on the property or what happened to the objects but normally it would be enough for them to start a life. At this time though he would normally just let the objects sit and collect dust. he rents out a few of the properties and houses to people who need a place to stay for very low rent and he does use some of the places.

One of the places that he uses is a very cluttered old house that he refers to as simply the cursed place. This place is very full of cursed items and he uses it to contain all of them, he has a Enchanted table of sorts that he uses to bring in cursed objects and take them away from Everyday People therefore stopping problems before they start. He doesn't often stay there but it's full of possessed objects as well so he has plenty of reasons to be the one to keep all of them. Whenever a person wants a cursed object or a possessed object they have to fully explain why and what they're going to do with it to Nico before he even considers giving them the Items. A lot of the time people would come in and be very confused by the extremely cluttered house and would be asked questions in the living room before they go to the specific place where the object is. Here he gives directions such as don't touch it with bare skin, don't be left alone with it etcetera. But if you don't return the item when you say you will without a proper reason he will hunt you down and forcibly take it from you though everyone knows not to disobey his rules after what's happened to the last ones.

Because of this he gets calls in the middle of meetings or when he's talking with people that sound frantic to people in the room with him but Nico is very passive and calm during the whole thing because he's used to it by now. As they start to spend more time with him they become more wary of this and end up asking him straight forward what all this means and why he keeps getting these calls to which he explains without even hesitating the whole situation. I forgot to state that "they" are the 7 +

Whenever it comes to connections this makes it so no matter where they are or what mission they are doing Nico and the 7 plus very likely to run into one of his friends who call him a different name every single time which has started to become a betting game between the 7 plus to see who can and guess what the next name is going to be.

No Hunters at all know that Nico is a Half-Blood or that half-bloods even exist, this means that they often get in confusing situations when they're hunting with Nico. Well they expect that he isn't fully human they have no clue that he is truly that powerful and he could tell what their intentions were the second he gave them a drink the first time you met them and accidentally grazed their hands. By this I mean he learned to take a peek into their past to see how they got into haunting since it is most often a death or a family business as this happens he also looks to see how they have responded to the grief if they were were the type that got into it by losing a loved one to monsters. Surprisingly this can tell a lot about a person's reasoning behind what they do. If he has more time, if he's shaking their hands there's more time than if he accidentally grazes the person's hand he will look into past cases to see more about the person. At first he felt bad doing this but over time he learned how important it was to know a person's true intentions before agreeing to work with them

This is one of the many many many reasons he doesn't like touching people because there is a chance that he will accidentally look into they're past and he doesn't feel comfortable doing that unless necessary. 

As he met more people he gained more and more information that he shouldn't know at such a young age such as how to dismantle a gun how to clean one and how to tell the difference between them using bullet holes. He also gained a lot of knowledge on how to be on the Run though he who has been too smart to make it traceable so as he is 15 it's only just being placed together that there is a possibility that these cases are attached, it takes 4 plus years to say for certain that they are connected and they never find the true culprit both this very very large serial killer. He does learn and embrace the not so legal ways of making money that Hunters are famed for being perfect at. He does take a different route then credit card theft though. For the most part the most illegal part of how he makes money is that hes way under the legal age for getting jobs, let alone at places like casinos which is where he mainly worked. His shadow traveling made it so he was a master at sleight of hand making it so he was a never losing card player though he barely had to cheat as he was simply very good at the card games themselves anyway. He learned very quickly how to find tells and how to use the fact that he was in fact a tiny to his advantage by making it so he was underestimated by people in the casino. He was also very good at picking out the people who are the most addicted to gambling but the ones that are also very high up in scales so they would have enough money to lose and they always lost. It was not the most legal Casino which is how he ended up getting a job there simply because there was so much crime going on already what was a little bit more and he was also a very promising worker considering that he already knew exactly how to play the most famous games that they had there.

He was very often treated as a Cryptid even by hunters and as a person that you only contact under very dire circumstances and its said he will keep up his end of the bargain as long as you keep up yours and if you don't then things will go bad very quickly. But whenever he started going back to school things became a little weirder. When he first started going back to the school that he might as well have been kidnapped from, people were excited to see him but could tell that he change. Before and he had left him and his sister basically ran the entire School. It wasn't as much of a dictatorship and more like a they have the power here you do what they say and follow their rules. Their rules were more along the lines of if we see you bullying someone else then you will disappear and if you are pushing someone that is too weak to fight back then Nico will fight you. It was never really questioned that much after the first couple weeks of it since it wasn't a very sudden thing. As all this went down it wasn't surprising that they were shown the most respected people in all of the school. This was at a point where the principal who had been slowly getting worse and worse to the students over time suddenly disappeared they didn't question it and simply turned towards the siblings. By the time Nico started going to school again the school had gone downhill without any of the enforcers there. Almost immediately when he returned those who had been there the same time as he did started to immediately get back into what they were doing before but not that many of those people were left after so many years. As he slowly forced people back into the way they were before they had to readjust to him, this time they stop treating him as a normal person and treated him as if he was a Cryptid, just not in the same way as the hunters. Their way was leaving small objects, getting out of his way when he walked around campus, and coming to make “deals” with him. The deals were often simple things such as tell me what blah blah blah is saying behind my back and in return they would give him small valuable items such as jewelry or other items that are valuable in different ways such as vintage books and important items on a Sentimental level. The more expensive ones would be the ones where he specifically had to jump in instead of Simply listening into some things going on. This could be talking to a specific person or standing up against a person who was being rude to the buyer. These things would often be paid for in more expensive items or more important stuff then the smaller jobs. There is only one case of a person giving him fake items, and let's just say there is a reason no one even tries to do that anymore. If he understands where you're coming from, respects it, but is unable to do it he will return the thing you paid him with and speak (which is a very rare thing from him) and explain the situation. He lives in the same dorm he did back then but now there is a mailbox nailed into his door that he empties out every day to find small objects like I said before. These can be scraps of cloth, bones, jewelry, food, money, or any such items. When Will transfers to this school he is immediately caught off guard by how Nico was treated but as he explained to him what goes on to be treated this way, will understands. If he sees bullying he responds the same way he did as a child and the person either will not be seen, will not be seen for a short amount of time before returning, or he will simply fight them then and there and they always lose. To school over time becomes a kind of sanctuary for Half-Blood kids as he makes it sure that the teachers are very trauma-informed and know how to treat kids with ADHD Etc. He also makes it so that it's very obvious to tell what is an accident and what was on purpose considering how even the teachers know what's going on with Nico and his Cryptidness. I know that this seems like a long shot, the school part of this au-ish thing, but I think it's a very interesting thing to imagine And a not very common a way you can make a character be treated and still stay in character.

I call this Au Insanity, It is basically unhinged Dark!Nico

Nico went off the deep end more then we were supposed to believe when he disappeared. He loses all morals and the second he gets in a bad situation and it shows. I'm mainly going to do like a story line for this one cuz it's the easiest way to explain it all.

Okay so if the seven plus we're going on a mission. Whether people wanted to believe or not it was hard to dismiss the fact that they were only facing smaller enemies of the big idea, monsters that suddenly increased in strength and people that were once at least a little bit controlled would do anything to kill the demigods. At first this seems not that bad, maybe it was just something weird happening but as they started facing more and more sophisticated enemies who suddenly were as feral as a common enemy they could tell something was wrong

They first started to realize something was going on with Nico as well whenever he asked Hazel in the middle of a fight if he could "just get this over with." It seemed that Hazel was a completely different person as she said no. She was colder and left no room for consideration

Soon after they were suddenly completely cornered by enemies that they normally didn't even bother them, to which hazel suddenly called out "just go ahead and do it." Suddenly everything went black and as soon as they could see again, every single Monster was gone. Later they overheard Hazel talking to Nico and she asked why did you do that to which he responded, "that got pretty gory, I didn't want anyone to see it" 

Everything went downhill whenever the gods and goddess started getting controlled as well. this was when it was as obvious as possible that this was not normal. It wasn't like there was anyone big that were being controlled, but it just so happened that Insanity was one of the first that they faced. To which they made a comment that confused everyone. They said "how do you control yourself so well, you're worse than I am," to Nico. This was when they confronted Hazel. They didn't know what they were expecting but it wasn't for her say "yeah fine you got me, something's not right"  She explained that while Nico was pretty stable, under certain situations he can choose to quote quote, "let go" of his control and basically his dark side (that many people already have ideas) of would take control.

It's under these situations where Nico would "censor" what everyone saw by using Shadows to fill their ears and cover their eyes so they'd had no clue what was going on. basically, these shadow figures would come to help him or he would fight off the enemies very quickly. He mainly only used it as a worst-case scenario.

 The setbacks of this would be that he had any chance of losing control permanently if he did so too many times to quickly. And if he used them too much in a short amount of time ( if he was in very hard fight or if it was completely unnecessary for him to do what he did ) his eyes look glazed over and kind of red as a warning to anyone that already knows to back off. He would also get red eyes (AKA a warning) if he got extremely mad or if he was being pushed to his limit. If he gets in a very dark situation like he needs information or something he might end up leaning into the dark a little too much, at that point his eyes would turn bright red and the only way to calm him down was for him to do it himself since the only person who also knows how to (Bianica) ls dead.

Now back to the shadow people The shadow people aren't necessarily bad, they can most likely be treated as spirits that have simply lost their Humanity. These people found Nico at a young age, he does have quite the tendency to draw dark stuff in, and befriended him. The spirits the only want to help him and they'll leech off of his emotions just like the paranormal Community believe that Poltergeists do. basically shadow people are good and light people are bad to him.

The Shadows

So at a very young age he first met them. The others simply thought it was a imaginary friend but his family knew but something was off as soon as he suddenly had a new necklace with a seemingly changing number of gems on it. (Majority of the time it had two gems but at the most it had seven) after about a year or so of wearing it he suddenly stopped wearing it, though everyone didn't really think that was too special (he had a tendency for losing jewelry very easily) he was very worked up over it and he soon got a pair of earrings just to lose those ones too that's when the Shadows decided to bind to him instead of a piece of jewelry simply because they knew he would lose it.

He grew up with them choosing who to talk to and if they didn't talk to you you couldn't hear the Shadows. As he went to America suddenly he seemed to stop talking to the Shadows. His sister asked him what happened to them just for him to explain they weren't gone they just start talking less and less and now they only really seem to talk when he was alone.

By the time he was at Camp Half-Blood for the first time they barely ever talked only in situations that were deemed dire. They only started talking again whenever he ran into the underworld. They started consoling him teaching him and working with him though the grieving process, though he still felt alone. they were very mad at what had happened, it just so happens that emotion leeched onto Nico causing him to act irrationally and not be able to see past his own anger.The fact that the shadows and Nico can influence the others emotions ended up getting them stuck in a loop of anger that just kept getting worse, that's why they aren't very healthy per say to have around exactly.After all this happened the Shadows became more detached ended up just acting as spirits that were following him around, though they were much more powerful, they no longer influenced each others emotions as well as ending other setbacks the Bond caused.

They weren't simply there for him either, they also taught him things that you shouldn't know at a young age. Kind of like the song to be humans by Martina. It was stuff thats important, but messed him up. They basically guided him into being the person he is now, hyper aware of what's going on and really wanting to change it.

One day while they were in the middle of a lesson they suddenly saw the opposite of Shadows, we're going to call them light cuz that makes the most sense. The light Saw Nico as a threat of sorts. They thought that he knew too much even though the Shadows had been purposefully teaching him and basically he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and the lights tried to kill him. Because of this he doesn't really like talking about or dealing with any sort of light, most people just explain this as being a person whose most well versed in shadows (with the whole show traveling thing). They still come whenever he is in need and they still talk a lot of the time.

There are two main shadow people. They had died in the same area in two very different time periods and fell in love despite that. First the one that's most often referred to as J or Jeremy died in the 16-1900 in a small group of people in an odd part of Maine, then a few years later the lady often referred to as Chrissy died in the same area, eventually they met up and ended up attaching to the same item, the necklace, and over time the other people joined the necklace as well. It can be considered a cursed object because if the spirits don't approve of the person wearing the necklace, they will treat the person very badly until they give up the necklace. Nico never told anyone what happened to the original necklace but eventually the Shadows shifted onto the earrings right before whatever happened to the necklace happened. They seemed to have been turned into shadows against their will, though they don't like to talk about it. It's implied that the necklace was believed to hold a single demonic spirit so someone tried to cleanse it by speaking into existence that it had nothing attached to it, only to speak that the spirits were non human into existence instead, the man didn't want to live up the to the failure so the man chucked the necklace onto a crew ship and told the current owner of the necklace it didn't survive the cleansing.

Insanity nico mainly comes from him having a cult like loyalty to Midas as he refuses to process Bianca's death and nico suddenly turning on him. He was willing to do anything to get his sister back.

The next Nico rant, Accidental Fame AU

Basically you can summarize this one as saying that Nico used to make music with his sister and he was like, relatively big, big enough to have a concert in the school hall but nothing too big. Overtime as the two of them suddenly disappeared they Skyrocket in popularity. As it happens, it was very good publicity and many people started to fall in love with their music.

Slowly after a year or two Nico starts to take back the YouTube page that they were posting on and gets on social media like a Tik Tok and Instagram and that sort of thing. At first he doesn't post any explanation To what has happened, he keeps it all a secret but over time he starts to let go of small information. It wouldn't technically count as small information but it would not be the truth he would explain that his sister passed away, but he would instead of saying he joined the Camp Half-Blood he would say he was kidnapped and then him and his sister went off the grid for a long time.

He started posting videos of music mainly but also all videos of weird situations such as him being surrounded by a bunch of kids singing in the middle of the night (the camp sing-along night) but no matter what the people who are searching for him could do, they never found him. He became pretty famous. So it was hard to say whether it was from his music or the kidnapping that was never fully explained. 

One day whenever all of the 7 plus got phones it wasn't too long until they found one of his videos on their for you page. They had a lot of questions for him but eventually agreed to keep it a secret and to not really look at his page, they did not keep their promise. one of the main questions they had was how did you keep posting stuff, his simple response was all I did was do a little bit of research and found repellent that countered the toll of his phone. They were all pretty confused, I don't know why they hadn't thought of that but it was most likely because not many people there really dove into the hole magic side of things what he did while he was trying to bring back his sister so for all they knew it didn't even exist. 

But that one's pretty straightforward it's just that he and his sister were music artist before all that happened.

The closest he could do to honestly practicing where the jobs that his dad gave him. This caused him to slowly become more interested in these jobs eventually not even taking breaks in between them and just finding jobs for himself to do. As he did this more and more he would put himself in more dangerous situations. Because of this he had a interesting way of getting better, he would simply put himself in situations and do so over and over again till he gets it right. Then he would go into a more dangerous situation and repeat the process. Elves in Eragon are know for cutting through crowds of enemies impossibly fast. He started to aim for the head (slashing like Romans) or the heart (stabbing like Greeks). He also learned to make himself an impossible target to the crowd by working fast and twisting a lot to avoid an attack from behind.

When he was against small groups he picked them of one by one, starting with the smallest and ending with the strongest. 

   So if he was going against 1 particularly strong enemy then he would the majority of the time use the "provoke until a mistake is made" strategy, While mainly evading until openings

Earlier i said that I would come back to the study part, Every time he would go against a new enemy he would right down all he knew and do extra research. He would write in different places where he thought it was on a common to legendary scale etc. From here he would memorize the enemies to make facing them in the future easier.

He is often described as being very power heavy fighter, I believe that he isn't necessarily power heavy as much as power being one of the main thing he focuses on while fighting instead of treating it like a special move. When he barely could fight he could still use his powers so as they develop it became a large part of the fighting style.

How nico got better at things. I have the belief that instead of fighting dummies or whatever they did at either the camps Nico took a more painful approach.

A little bit of happiness because that was pretty sad. Because of this his sister ended up nicknaming him "adrenaline junkie" just to mess with him. He never disagreed.

Because of this he started to research as many monsters as possible, ill get back to this, and from it he got the main spots to aim for aka the neck and heart. He worked on other main spots but for simplicity were gonna pretend those are the only ones.
