Hulk frowned. "Why sit? Angry Lady... advantage." Hulk listened to Banner's praise in his head, but Hulk ignored Banner in a second.

"Tired. Hulked out yesterday, you know how it goes." Bruce shrugged. "We could always just screw around in the lab, if you want. You don't have to talk about anything."

"Tony!" Bruce exclaimed, grinning. "How are you? You feeling okay?"

Bruce frowned at her, his arms hanging by his sides as he looked her over. "I'm not- I'm not doing it to be mean, I'm doing it to protect you. I'm volatile in the worst way, Andie." He knelt down in front of her and, though he hesitated for a moment, took her hands. "I don't do it to upset you. I don't mean to upset you. I know you only want to help, but this... This isn't anything normal, or average. This isn't anything you've seen before, or anything you should see. It's better if we just..." Bruce exhaled, releasing one of her hands to rub at his forehead. "You know?"

Bruce shook Mike's hand. "That's... probably reasonable. Has To-" Bruce paused. "Has... Mr. Stark explained the... circumstances... to you?"

"Hello," Bruce said, immediately wary of someone wearing a suit, looking so prim and proper, so straight-backed. "Can I help you?"

Bruce raised his eyebrows. "You talk to Steve?" Bruce had been unable to talk to anyone except Tony since they went their separate ways. At the beginning, it had been too difficult. Natasha, he had almost killed; Clint, he barely knew. Thor was... well, he was very far away. He wanted to call Steve, meet him for lunch, something, but what do you say to someone like him? Tony ended up being the only one he could relate to, and, by extension, the only one he saw.
