Why?

I can't unhear that horrified scream.

My mother is shattered.

My brother is silent.

My father is everything and nothing.

And I am a failure who didn't keep her family together.

I have stared into the eyes of the living, the dead, and those floating somewhere in-between, and every time have I seen nothing.
