Hi! When I'm very bored, I have a tendency to take on impractical projects. I'm bored relatively often. …Wanna see the pics? Current Project: Cooking Dairy Free Recipes Pending Project: Decorate My Bedroom

The internet has been going in and out for the last few days, and last night I was fed up and miserable over it, so I just sat in front of the tv, moping and watching Castle. Happy Valentine's Day to me!
The internet is still out, actually, as are the phone lines. So I picked up my shit and booked it to the library, where there's free wifi. (Hahaha, "booked it!" Unintentional but hilarious.)

Spent most of the day completely absorbed in "Running with Scissors," probably would have finished if the internet hadn't finally come back in the afternoon. Kind of wish it had stayed off for another day.
I think I was making that same face in every scene involving poop. Oh so many poop scenes...

On the day I buy my kindle, I also find out that the closest bookstore, Borders, is closing. This is sad for many reasons, the strongest being that I spent a large portion of my youth there. I bought my first Tamora Pierce book in that store, my first Harry Potter book, whet to more than one Midnight Party for more than one series.
Certainly doesn't help that I went digital on the same day. Feels like I cheated on an old lover and was promptly dumped.

I can't seem to stop buying makeup! It's addictive.
Maybelline gel eyeliner in Aubergine.

I'm not as nerdy or intelligent as I first come off in person, but I am, without a doubt, extremely lame. This is not the only photo of The Wizard of Menlo Park I have taped up in my room, just sayin. This particular one is situated right next to my record player, of course, which is named Bing. (After Crosby. And it's a Crosley. Soooo, you know, Bing Crosley. :D? :D? :D?)
Just sayin...

Egg and Croissant Popovers
This one is super freakin easy!
Preheat oven to 325º or 350º? We switched it up about half way through, because we were afraid the egg wasn't cooking? It was, so 325º is fine. Just watch and decide for yourself.
Spray whatever nonstick thing you want in your cupcake tray, I used Pam baking spray with flour.
Line the cups with croissant dough, or Pillsbury Crescent dough if you're like us. We used the XL kind, for optimum doughiness.
Drop egg into croissant cavity.
Season however you like. We salted and peppered all of them, then added thyme and fresh basil according to our respective tastes.
Bake for 20-30min.
Eat and enjoy!
Can't believe how simple it was! We're thinking of putting some cheese between the crescent and egg next time. Would also add basil to all of them, instead of just a few, because it cut the sweetness of the dough and made the whole thing much more savory.
