Yo bros, sorry for lack of writing things have been hectic with going back to school stuff. I do plan on getting the drafts done. I honestly am not sure when but hopefully I will find the time for it soon

okay guys hear me out. everyone i talk to regularly knows this already but i miss old alan dialogue. i LOVE his polished character now, but he had some awesome lines in early beta where he talked more about himself and how he views life and i wish they kept them in!!

in case you did not have an insane hyperfixation on beta like me, here’s a couple of my favorite lines that i totally did not spend months looking for after removal

Robin: Al-an, how are you doing?

Al-An: You would not understand. We are very different.

R: We are different. But aren’t we seeing with the same eyes right now? Don’t you see the same colors?

A: No.

R: What do you see?

A: Eyes, radio, sensors, they just detect vibration. What you call your five senses I call one. No surfaces, no colours, no blur of motion. Just data points fluxuating between non-existence and infinity.

R: Is it fun?

A: Did you not understand? I am experiencing existence.

R: I just can’t tell. It sounds… wild. But also… cold.

A: It is precise, but wavy. From just what you hear, I can taste the air, or listen to the shape of the room. It is… engaging.

R: Sounds like we have the same experiences different ways. And we were born in different galaxies. Isn’t that incredible?

A: No. If it is true it is a matter of statistical inevitability.

R: That’s another way to put it.

R: What do you do when you’re not working?

A: We do not make this distinction.

R: What about music, art, expression?

A: We are beyond such sensory pleasures.

R: Then what’s the point?! Every lifeform I ever met survives for a reason.

A: By developing and sharing information on the network we can explore the world. Not to see through another’s eyes, but to understand their ideas.

R: You think about thoughts.

A: It is more like a lucid conceptual hallucination.

R: You’re saying you like to day-dream?!

A: That may be the closest comparison.

I need every single person to understand how horrible tumblr’s tagging system is

I go into the tag for epilepsy and its all flashing lights. We can’t use our own tag because people without epilepsy fill it up with improper warnings.

Use ‘flashing’ in place of ‘epilepsy’ in your tags. You aren’t warning people of epileptics, you’re warning us of flashing lights. Please please tag properly. Epileptics say this endlessly and constantly and it’s ignored. You are risking lives by doing this.
