Okay, Tumblr isn't letting me reply to things but just so it's clear:

This isn't a ranking, it's a handful of characters that either would work great together or horribly together based on rp etiquette, I did not and do not plan to elaborate on how well I'd think every character would rp. I know some great rpers aren't listed but I'm not gonna overwork my brain to determine dynamics and the etiquette vs skill

I'm not saying any of this to be mean, I'm saying this because I don't want people to be disappointed that what I intended to be a one-off post is not going to include or elaborate on other characters

Homestuck characters that would make the perfect rp discord rotation:

Calliope, Nepeta, Dave, Jade, Kanaya, Aradia, Feferi

Homestuck characters who would make a hellish rp discord rotation:

Dirk, Eridan, Caliborn, Bro, Gamzee, Nannasprite, Arquissprite, Rose

(this is solely my opinion based on how the characters either react to the concept of rp in the comic or how well or horribly the characters would cooperate in an rp,)

Tavros: Invisi Billy

Sollux: doesn't really care about it but would pick Luna Mothews when asked by Aradia after shown the gen 1 list to make her happy

Karkat: picks Clawd but it's really Draculaura

Nepeta: Meowlody and Purrsephone (mainly for they're dolls rather than personality)

Kanaya: Rochelle Goyle

Terezi: Lorna McNessie

Vriska: Toralei Stripes (she later secretly changes it to Cleo De Nile)

Equius: Robecca Steam

Gamzee: literally picks that human guy dancing in the movie Ghouls Rule

Eridan: Gil Webber

Feferi: Finnagen Wake

Homestuck trolls and what kind of tea I think they'd drink

Aradia: peppermint

Tavros: milk tea

Sollux: it's just honey in hot water

Karkat: sleepy time tea

Nepeta: matcha with spearmint

Kanaya: earl grey

Terezi: citrus green tea

Vriska: anything with cinnamon or ginger in it

Equius: chamomile

Gamzee: southerner style of sweet tea

Eridan: claims coffee is better but everyone sees the grimace he makes when he thinks no one it looking

Feferi: any kind of berry tea

Okay, so for clarification: I'm only at the beginning of one piece but like-

Just looking at Mihawk makes me think that this man would have some quirk about him the way Gomez Adams does when Morticia speaks french

Like the black and white Adams family tv show kind specifically

Like this man would go out of his way to kiss his partner's hand/arm at the sound of them speaking a different language (idk what language would suit him best for this ngl)

Like especially the scenes where it causes some silly shenanigans like when Gomez couldn't kiss Morticia due to being in a suit of armor or something

Idk, like I said I'm at the beginning so I could be wrong

sometimes I just wanna make silly little Homestuck ocs and not flesh them out

Like do I know how they'd act? No, but I do know they like rping mythical creatures

Do I know my ocs goals and motivations? Nope, but look at their cute lil outfit
