Aradia: peppermint

Tavros: milk tea

Sollux: it's just honey in hot water

Karkat: sleepy time tea

Nepeta: matcha with spearmint

Kanaya: earl grey

Terezi: citrus green tea

Vriska: anything with cinnamon or ginger in it

Equius: chamomile

Gamzee: southerner style of sweet tea

Eridan: claims coffee is better but everyone sees the grimace he makes when he thinks no one it looking

Feferi: any kind of berry tea

Idk how to explain it

I feel like if Dirk Strider went to regular highschool he'd be the kind of guy who looks normal but under his hoodie he has a rainbow dash tee and he hangs out with basically every clique except the like bullies

Like obviously he'd have family in a couple clique as an in for some of them but for others he's just there for his genuine interest and gains friends (example: robotics club and anime club) or he ends up friends with someone through asking them the randomest shit and somehow gaining a friend after a while of doing so

Mans probably doesn't even realize how many people consider him a friend until he's going through it and now like most of the school is contacting him checking in

Sometimes I think about regular names that fit the troll naming style and just- imagine if instead of the names we got one of the trolls was named something like Claire

Like no offense to people named Claire, I just think it would be silly to meet someone from a different planet just to find out they have an earth name

Sollux: doesn't really care about it but would pick Luna Mothews when asked by Aradia after shown the gen 1 list to make her happy

Karkat: picks Clawd but it's really Draculaura

Nepeta: Meowlody and Purrsephone (mainly for they're dolls rather than personality)

Kanaya: Rochelle Goyle

Terezi: Lorna McNessie

Vriska: Toralei Stripes (she later secretly changes it to Cleo De Nile)

Equius: Robecca Steam

Gamzee: literally picks that human guy dancing in the movie Ghouls Rule

Eridan: Gil Webber

Feferi: Finnagen Wake

sometimes I just wanna make silly little Homestuck ocs and not flesh them out

Like do I know how they'd act? No, but I do know they like rping mythical creatures

Do I know my ocs goals and motivations? Nope, but look at their cute lil outfit

I stand by the my headcanon that Dave quotes romcoms Karkat likes to be funny

Like he starts with the weirdest and obscure ones that only Karkat would know (because Karkat would be the type to memorize romcoms scripts) but on the rare occasion he says one of the mushy romance quotes "ironically" it just makes Karkat melt

Also he'd say a mushy one like a few times to try and win an argument by distracting Karkat but it would just cause Karkat to vacillate between red and black and get louder as he argues with some "if you weren't so handsome" and "I wanna kiss you to make you shut up" thrown in
