god,I’m back to screaming into the void that is tumblr. things are going so,so shitty. I keep losing days,I keep doing nothing,I can’t get anything done,the hours go by and I’m just sitting there trying not to let the wave of self loathing completely wash over me,all the while I’m feeling more disgusted by myself with every passing minute. I try not to talk bad about myself,I’m good with distractions. but I’m distracting my life away,I’m dealing with my future like gambling deck. and worst of all,I can’t stop,I don’t know how to stop,I’m not sure I want to stop. I need to be saved from myself but I also need to be left alone. I need to be ripped from the roots. I’m helpless. I’m hopeless. please.

I know that we are all aware of the many similarities between All for the game and The Raven cycle but I feel the need to point them out anyway. These books are all amazing and life changing and I would not recommend them to ANYONE, but everyone in the world needs to read them. They are just books. No they are NOT, they are an experience. You read them for the first time because why not and then you have to re read them constantly because your whole life revolves around them now. They make no fucking sense whatsoever and yet every word is etched into my soul. Everyone in the books has so much past trauma and gains new trauma during the story. Everyone is SO loved. The found families are top tier, and every member would die for the others no questions asked. There's murder. There's abusive parents. There's iconic cars. There's unhinged characters obsessed with random things ( exy- finding a dead Welsh king ). There's ravens. All the characters are lgbtq because we say so. They're stories about finding your place in the world.

luz thinking she had been the bad guy all along and that she doomed the boiling isles, but she was actually beloved by the titan, kings dad, the very manifestation of the boiling isles. the titan wanted her to succeeded, the titan saw how loving she was towards his [their?] son, and gave her all the tools she needed to thrive in this new world.
