The words Kudou had just said echoed in the club room, and the confidence with which he’d spoken lingered in the air as well. She could still hear it: despite the unanimous, shocked exclamation coming from their friends in response to his statement, it was his voice that was stuck in her head, not theirs. More than just his voice, it was all the emotion and implication that it had carried with it, too. The certainty she could’ve discerned; the joy and peace that accompanied it.
The total absence of hesitation, the perfect equilibrium she never would have attributed with Kudou, not because she’d found him lacking but because it simply wasn’t in his nature to ever remain calm for long. It was just another thing that she adored about him – and yet, right now, it only made her head spin even more.
Just how could he have said that so straightforwardly?

fantastic. lovely. liberating. gorgeous. so much space in so little space. people coming to visit randomly. me finally having the possibility of being 'that friend who'll invite you and feed you while constantly asking you if you're sure you don't want more tea'. could use a few more mugs and plates but I guess having a te in a glass isn't such a catastrophe. still haven't written a word despite having so much more time. art is doing better though I think.
