Charlotte is Miriam older sister and was appreciate more by her mother than Miriam but It didn't matter because Charlotte still loved Miriam a lot but their relationship was strained once Charlotte moved away to pursue her dreams making Miriam lonely since that was the only person she really connected with. Their relationship got even worse once Miriam married Bob which infuriated Charlotte.
