Writing Tracker 2024
I made a new version for this year :)
If you like to physically see how much you've written, and if seeing numbers stack up motivates you, then this is a tool for you! There are also several functions to compare how you write, if you're also a little bit of a math nerd like me (math teacher).
The first sheet is to enter your daily word count. Off to the right, you can change your daily word count goal. The second sheet is to keep track of which projects you work on. This year I added a user guide sheet that may answer some FAQs, but I'm still willing to answer questions.
In order to make a copy, go to the file tab at top of the spreadsheet and click make a copy. After that, feel free to make whatever changes you need to make this effective for you.
I'm not a professional spreadsheet-maker by any means, so there might be some issues here and there.
Anyway, by small and simple things are great things brought to pass! By the end of this year, by beating my goal of 225 words per day, I will have written 100,000 words. And you don't even have to make it to your goal every day as long as you make up for it little by little down the line. Good luck, writers!

went into a book store (which has so many books in it that I cannot process them all, but I thought I might look at the art books) and the littlest, roundest mouse scurried out from under a bookshelf and past me into the open area
my sister showed us how to do a deep tissue self-massage on our feet and I forgot that perhaps my deep tissue there is still heavily damaged (!! wow who would have guessed it's not like I have, like,,,, arthritis or anything,,, hahaha that would be so crazy fr,,,,,,,,,) so I will not be doing that on my bad foot again I think
