Logan sets up Disney plus on the TV, clicking the Princy dubbed “Specs'' profile, Vision appearing on screen as his profile saver. Logan didn't mind the characterization Roman had chosen, the man is clearly one of the more intelligent options even if he is a synthezoid.

Logan clicks past his recently watched before searching up ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’. He can smell popcorn in the air and see Patton fluttering about between the kitchen and the living room, pausing to check the hall every couple of minutes. Logan glances at him after he clicks the movie and pauses so it would be ready when they started. He frowns slightly. Patton was eating a cookie- wait he had a cookie moments ago. Was that his second?

“Astra?” Logan says, using his endearing nickname for Patton that typically calms the other, he sets the remote down on the coffee table with a pensive frown. Patton stops and looks at him with a very nervous smile that looked like it was going to crack any moment. The nickname did not seem to work. Logan crosses the room until he's in front of Patton placing a hand on either of his shoulders. “What is the matter?” Patton rubs his hands together dusting off the cookie crumbs and chews before swallowing the cookie. “Nothing, I'm okay Logie!” He says looking up at him with wide doe eyes that look as if they were cracking like glass. Logan narrows his eyes before raising his eyebrow, not releasing Patton's shoulders. Patton deflates after a few seconds with a sigh. “That obvious?” “Well seeing as you have not stopped moving since about,” He checks his watch, “Six o’clock, when the movie starts at seven, paired with the fact that that was the second cookie you've consumed in the last five minutes. You have also been fidgeting with your cardigan quite a bit. What I mean is-- Yes. You have been quite obvious. I will inquire again, what is the matter?” Patton fidgets with his hands, looking up at Logan.

“I- I just, what if we scare him? We're quite a bit different from his… old friends Logie. I don't want him to be uncomfortable or nervous but it's only five minutes until we start… he's usually early for meals so it's weird he's not early for a fun event…” Patton sighs again and messes with his cardigan, “We just recently got him to feel comfortable and accepted… I just don't want to mess any of that up…” Patton says worriedly. Logan gently tips Patton's chin up to look at him, Logan looks completely serious, his eyes the only tell of his fondness for Patton.

“We're not going to scare him. I can not think of a single realistic occurrence that ends in Virgil upset in any way. The best we can do is be ourselves and show him that he is still accepted and appreciated even when we're not actively speaking with Thomas. We are still his friends. We lov- er like him and he just needs to be shown that.” Logan releases Patton's shoulders and adjusts his tie, “I will go check on him if you would check on Roman, he may be burning down the kitchen with the popcorn, it smells burnt.” Patton nodded and moved quickly to the kitchen. Logan could hear them in the kitchen as he walked down the hall to Virgil's room.

“Pumpkin what happened!?” he could hear Patton exclaim from the kitchen, there was coughing on Romans part as he most likely opened the smoking microwave. It was after Roman could breathe again that Logan hears his response.

“Angel you see I had the best idea! I could put two bags of popcorn in for double the time-” Roman starts to explain dramatically, likely speaking with his hands seeing as he has a habit of doing that, especially when he's excited. Though Logan can't see them he knows what his adorable boyfriends are doing and can practically picture the whole conversation.

“Hon that's not how popcorn works!” Patton interrupts clearly frantic, there must be a lot of smoke.

Logan reaches Virgil's room unable to hear the rest of their conversation from this far down the hall, he knocks thrice on Virgil's door waiting on a response. After a moment more there is one. “Yeah?” For some reason Virgil's voice sounded hoarse like he was tired or unwell. Logan's eyebrows draw together before he relaxes them again realizing it was too husky to actually be sick. Virgil was feigning ill.

“The movie is starting soon and Patton is worried about you because you weren't in the living room yet.” Logan responds, he hears shuffling in the room before hearing Virgil again, closer to the door this time. “You know L… I uh, not really feeling the movie night tonight a-actually you know you guys go have fun…” Without me. Logan could practically hear the unsaid words clear as day. Judging by Virgil's tone he was having second thoughts because he was nervous he would mess things up. Self doubt. Logan smiles to himself, he had helped Roman through self doubt many times, it was nothing new. “Pity you are feeling unwell, Roman could not stop talking about how excited he was to sing and duet the Nightmare Before Christmas songs with you. And Patton made cookies, he was quite excited to have you eat some, Roman also made popcorn though I believe he burned it. I was rather excited to talk through the movie's inconsistencies actually.” Validation came in many forms, Logan knew that by telling Virgil how excited they all were to have him he would feel a bit better. “You guys have movie nights all the time though, you don't need me to have fun and do that stuff.” Virgil refutes through the door, Logan can hear the rustle of Virgil fidgeting with his jacket strings. “We don't have to need you to want or enjoy your company Virgil. You're not just another side, you're one of us now as established recently.” he pauses before deciding to speak his mind on the matter. “We would miss you as well… if you weren't to come…” Logan purses his lips, “I will leave it up to you Virgil, the movie will start after Roman makes the next batch of popcorn, I would say around ten minutes seeing as he has a knack for burning things kitchen related.”

Logan hesitates a moment longer, hearing nothing at the other side of the door. Waiting for a response and receiving nothing. Logan turns from the door but as he does he hears a faint noise and the doorknob turns, the door opening some. Virgil peeks out from behind it and Logan smiles fondly at the anxious display. Logan offers his hand to Virgil. “If you get overwhelmed you are allowed to leave.” Logan says simply to Virgil with a smile, Virgil nods and then steps out from behind his door taking Logans hand, Logan smiles and intertwines his fingers with Virgil’s. Virgil stiffens slightly but doesn't pull away, Logan takes this as a good sign and Virgil relaxes after a moment. He shoots Virgil a fond smile and moves to the living room with Virgil. ~Perspective swap~

Virgil follows behind Logan, free hand fidgeting with his jacket zipper quietly. He feels warm, not in a bad way, he knows he's blushing… well obviously. Logan just freaking grabbed his hand- and not in a normal platonic way, their fingers were locked. Virgil glanced up as Logan turned back and shot him a look that spears straight through his stomach filling it with butterflies. He swallows thickly, suddenly even more nervous about this movie night. Sure they accepted him. Sure they said they liked him… he had noticed though how close the three of them were. Cutesy nicknames, they were almost always in contact with one another… it was comforting that they were starting to extend that to him too on rare occasion but- scary. He just didn't want to screw anything up. One wrong move and he could be sent spiraling back to the dark side. He could lose everything he had grown to love…

Logan snaps Virgil from his spiraling thoughts as he stops at the couch gesturing toward it. “If you could sit here for a moment Vee, I am going to check in on the boys in the kitchen.” He releases Virgil's hand and Virgil stuffs it in his jacket pocket. “Yeah okay, make sure Princy didn't burn down the kitchen.” He says feigning a joking smirk to hide his current anxieties. Logan offers a small smile to Virgil before briskly walking from the room and into the kitchen. Virgil can hear soft murmurings in the kitchen as he knee bounces restlessly at his side, were they always this touchy? He had noticed how they were with each other of course but- not really with him much. He smiled some and squeezed his fist feeling his nails dig into his palm, it was nice, holding Logan's hand for a bit. He glanced toward the kitchen again before hugging himself. It's alright, they accepted him and stuff, what could he possibly do to screw things up? Logan said they wanted to see him. That had to mean something right? Virgil chokes up again as Patton rounds the corner with a bright smile and a tray of cookies, Roman following closely behind with bowls of popcorn and Logan last with soda cans and a water bottle.

“I'm so glad you decided to come kiddo! Logie said you weren't feeling very well so we understand if you want to go at some point okay, just let us know!” Patton says with a chipper smile. “Though fair warning if you leave before Jack’s Lament I will be a bit disappointed, I am looking forward to dueting with you because I know you know all the songs. I've seen them on your Spotify playlist. Not that I’ve looked at your Spotify or anything dumb like that.” Roman says as he sets the popcorn down, Patton elbows him in the side and Roman frowns, “Ow Angel why would-” “He can leave whenever he wants.” Patton corrects through his teeth with a wide smile, Roman smiles nervously.

“Of course dearest, that's what I meant.” Roman amends glancing to Logan clearly for help. Virgil bites back a chuckle at them, they're so cute with each other.

“That's enough you two are going to frighten him,” Logan says with a soft smile to Virgil, Logan sets the sodas down before sitting on Virgil's left and placing a hand on his leg comfortingly. “You're free to leave whenever you want but just know that Roman is most ecstatic to watch with someone who also knows all of the lyrics.” Logan winks at him and Virgil is feeling elated from all the attention directed at him, he's not sure what to do but nods for some reason feeling the need to do anything to please Logan, has he received this kind of positive personal attention from Logan before?

“Yeah I mean I’m feeling better now or whatever…” He tries not to blush at the way both Roman and Patton light up at that, Logan merely smiles as if he had known that would be Virgil's response. Roman falls into the cushion beside Virgil and Patton sits on the floor in front of him. Within seconds Virgil finds himself at the center of some sort of cuddle triangle, he blushes feeling Romans arm snake its way over his shoulders, Logan leaning into his side, hand still on his leg and Patton on the floor an arm around either ankle hugging him. Virgil swallows nervously as he feels romans free hand take his left and Logans take his right. “Oh- you- okay.” he says very much confused. He doesn't say anything once again, very much enjoying the attention.

“Alexia, play the movie please.” Logan says to their smart tv, and the movie unpauses and begins to play after his instruction. Virgil melts into the positive affection and loving attention that he hasn't received before. The sides around him seem very relaxed and happy, Virgil doesn't question it… maybe they do really accept him… It's not long into the movie that he feels Logan leaning heavily into his shoulder, Virgil thinks for a moment before deciding to try something, he shifts so the hand holding Logan moves so it's instead around Logan's shoulders. Logan resettles quickly with a quiet him as Roman breaks out into song at Jack's Lament, he nudges Virgil's arm and turns his soft look at Logan over to Roman in confusion before smiling, feeling a bit more comfortable with them. He joins in on the song and Romans beaming smile at his joining is nearly blinding. The voices mix perfectly every high and low note in sync creating an elegant melody. He can feel Logan relax completely beside him, his breathing evening out as he falls asleep. Roman smiles at Logan fondly before fixing Virgil with the same look.

“He only falls asleep when he's completely at ease with someone… good job emo you somehow won over the nerds affections.” Virgil tenses slightly in confusion, affections as in like… Virgil blushes and Roman continues, “Of course I'm not sure why I'm surprised, he's not exactly the only person you've won over~” Roman wiggles his eyebrows at Virgil and Virgil raises an eyebrow.

“What's with the flowery confusing words Princey? It's just me.” Virgil laughs quietly and Patton looks up from where he's sitting till he's looking up at Virgil.

“You say that like it's a bad thing kiddo, we love spending time with ‘just you’.” Patton says with a soft smile, he presses a kiss to Virgil's knee and he blushes in response.

“W-well I mean I'm not like- not really one of you guys I used to be-” Patton turns around and Roman turns to face Virgil, the looks on their faces stopping his words. Patton looked concerned and Roman looked a bit angry. Virgil glances between the two of them, his eyes flitting between them anxiously. “Wh- what did I do?” “Virgie we don't care who you used to be, we don't mind in the slightest. What's important is that you made an effort to change and we love you…” Patton says softly, Virgil can feel tears prick his eyes.

“I- what… what do you mean-” he whimpers only to get cut off by Roman.

“You're one of us now, we love and accept you, It's my fault you feel like we don't- I… I was a bit protective before… before I realized you weren't a threat, you're here to help, you're needed Virgil, whether you believe it or not.” Roman smiles softly, and Virgil only gets more emotional. Roman just used his name… his actual name for once. It nearly broke him, he swallows with difficulty trying to push back the tears as he looks between the two.

“I don’t- why…? I don't understand. I just got accepted how come- I don't understand why you three are being so- nice… It just doesn't make any sense-” Virgil speaks back in a sort of distressed confusion. Patton sets a hand on either of Virgil's knees, and Roman takes his arm clinging to it like his life depends on it.

“Emo please. You clearly don't understand so let me spell it out for you. You are important to us, more so than your importance to Thomas, we care about you and your well being. We all like you, hell we all love you at this point Virgil. If- if you'll have us of course.” Roman says, going a bit hesitant at the end, he's nervous. Have us- have us?? Virgil could feel his face flush as he realized what Roman was asking, Patton was looking on expectantly and Logan curled a bit closer to Virgil in his sleep. Virgil could hear his heart in his ears, hammering away through his skull.

“Have… us…?” He repeats dumbly, “I- I…” Virgil takes in a shaky breath trying not to freak out. “Like- like a relationship?” he asks in a daze. “Yeah kiddo… if you're comfortable, we want to be in a relationship with you.” Patton clarifies with a gentle smile.

“Yes- Yes! I- a-are you sure?” Virgil asks, snapping from his anxious haze glancing up at Patton with a hopeful confused look. “Do you guys mean it?” Pattons heart breaks at his uncertainty, it's almost like he's expecting them to say they're joking.

“Of course kiddo, we would never joke about something so serious.” Patton says softly with a smile. Virgil wanted to hug Patton in that moment, Logan asleep against him and Roman holding his arm being the two things stopping him from doing so. “If you're sure… Yes, I've never wanted anything more.”

“That took much longer than I had anticipated, I did not take into account that Virgil would think we were joking initially.” Logan says, eyes still closed. Virgil flinches looking at him. “Apologies I did not wish to interrupt, or startle you.” Logan leans up from where he is leaning against Virgil's shoulder and kisses Virgil before retreating back down to his shoulder pillow. “I'm quite glad you accepted, your shoulder is rather comfortable.”

Princy gasps as if personally offended, “Logan! I said I wanted first kiss!” he exclaims. Patton chuckles and Virgil is frozen, blush climbing back into his face in seconds at Logan's kiss.

Roman turns Virgil's face gently towards him, tipping his chin in Romans direction. “Might I have your second kiss prince?” Virgil blinks from his stupor, unable to speak he just nods and Roman is forward in an instant kissing him, long and sweet in comparison to Logans short and soft. He pulls away after a moment and Patton blinks at him expectantly, Virgil smiles softly and nods, Patton leans up his gentle and caring. Virgil smiles blissfully, before cuddling close with his three new boyfriends. Virgil had never felt happier in his life…
