if the relationship is public - he's so loving. he'll smile at you and wave at you/your group whenever he sees them and you two are often caught smiling at each other and silently communicating across the room. it's genuinely the cutest lol. he's a big fan of recommending your songs to stays and he'll always have like a 6 page essay on why it's the best song you've released yet. if the relationship is public - as i said "quietly cute", therefore people know you two are together, but you're never really spotted together (you're together all the time), he doesn't really talk about you all that much on live or bubble (stray kids are tired of hearing your name) and he doesn't really react much to your songs when you perform on award shows, apart from small smiles and gentle movements (he learns all the lyrics and all the choreo within the first week of each release you make). i hope you're catching my drift - seungmin is pretty private about you and your relationship when it comes to the media and the fans, but when he's alone with you or with people he trust like skz or his family, all he talks about is you. it's adorable.

if the relationship is private - no one is knowing. i think he wouldn't even tell stray kids at first, too worried that the relationship won't last that long and he'll have to awkwardly explain the break up. but, unfortunately for minnie, he can't hide it forever and eventually the members catch on to something happening and pull the truth from him. but other kpop idols and the media and fans don't really catch onto it at all. he never really mentions you, he'll act civil and respectful with you/your group when he's in a situation where he needs to be and overall, he's really professional about it. he makes up for his kind of blankness around you in public by absolutely smothering you in private and it's really cute. (of course you brag about his cuteness to your members (if you're in a group) and no one, sadly, believes you lmfaoo). overall, he's really good at hiding it and you two will never have a dating scandal unless something gets hacked/leaked. (unlike that bs soojin seungmin scandal cuz wtf was that knetz?!)

if you're a singer, seungmin will honestly admire the similarities and differences between your voices, oftentimes finding himself marvelling over the sound of your voice and dreaming of collabs between you two. he's so whipped that it's not all that uncommon to find him listening to your ballads, eyes closed, laying down, just SOBBING. it definitely scared chan the first time he stumbled across it haha. seriously though, he loves the unique tone of your voice and he'll never tire of listening to you. plus, like a few others i've mentioned here, he'll definitely push for a skz-record/skz-player song release with you <3. if you're a rapper, he's honestly begging you to teach him to be better. now that our puppy has his braces off (!!!!), he'll want to get better with his rapping and of course, he could go to 3racha, but he's dating a main rapper, so of course, he's gonna go to you - it's an opportunity to spend time with the love of his life AND develop a skill that he can use in his career. cute! if you're a dancer, he's honestly madly impressed by your skills. seungmin has been criticised for being a bad dancer before (he is not.) so if he gets any insecurities around his dancing, he'll turn to you for help and advice. 9 times out of 10, it leads to you promising him that he's perfectly fine and that he doesn't need lessons from you so you two end up mucking around. he just really likes watching you dance, ngl lol. bonus! if you're the "hidden rapper" of your group (like our dear minnie is) then he'll honestly find it so funny and so cute that you two are that magical and powerful and talented - a perfect pair in his mind.

ok so ur probably jeongin's first partner (i'm trying not to infantilise him but like...he join jyp at 14, i dont think he's had a relationship /gen) so he's gonna be extra careful in general, but also, especially, in regards to your careers.

if the relationship is public - he's very soft and gentle when interacting with you because he's still so shy AND he's doing all this relationship stuff in the private eye, so he doesn't wanna fuck it up and face the, unfortunately inevitable, targeting from knetz. he's actually really vocal about you and recommending your songs and sharing his excitement whenever you/your group announce a new comeback. stays (the good ones!) have come to expect an excited innie post on instagram when your comeback is announced. jeongin will definitely give you credit for the pictures you take of him that he posts - he thinks yours are the best, no matter how shaky they are! he thinks the extra shake adds pizzazz (trynna make myself feel better about my shaky hands here lol, - is it obvious). seriously though, he's such a soft supportive boy! :( my heart :(.

if the relationship is private - he's got everyone convinced you two are just good friends. really. he posts just as much as he would if you two were public, but he words it differently so most people just assume you two are solid besties who are just straight vibing and hella big supporters of each other. secretly though, he's burning with the desire to hold your hands and hug you and kiss you in public because he wants to love on you whenever he can. but he can't and he has to reign himself so often that stray kids pick up on it and help him out with it too, warning him when you're close by so he can get into a mental state that's gonna be less risky for you both haha.

if you're a singer, jeongin will listen to your voice with his full attention focused on it. he thinks you sound absolutely amazing and he'll enjoy every last scrap of singing he can get out of you. he just thinks you are so wonderful to listen to :(. like seungmin, he'll push for a skz-record/skz-player song release with you and he'll take any end of year award show opportunities to perform with you too. this would be one of the times he might accidentally reveal your relationship/start dating rumours cuz he can't keep his eyes off of you. if you're a dancer, he's in awe. he thinks you look amazing and he'll just admire you, even when you're dancing non-seriously. because even non-seriously, your talent still seeps through and it makes jeongin stop and stare - completely and utterly awestruck. the boys love teasing him about it when he goes wide-eyed and flushed at the sight of you dancing something 👀spicy👀 lmfaoo. if you're a rapper, he thinks you're so talented and he playfully and semi-badly raps along to your songs and verses. he has a lot of respect for you no matter your rap speed. his favourite thing is watching you freestyle. something about seeing you rap with no pre-determined lyrics or flow has him actually falling further in love as he thinks it requires a large amount of skill to be able to do that (and he's right!). bonus! if you're the maknae, jeongin will cordially invite you to share the maknae on top title with him hehe. he's just really glad he has someone to relate to with regards to his maknae experience. and if you're younger than him, you are the new maknae of skz, good luck bestie - you're gonna get SMOTHERED.
