And Kan's revelation settles over him gently, bringing the same relief that the kiss did

I really love the evolution of their relationship, and how they're firmly friends now, and how Kan trusts Ayan with this knowledge of his feelings for Thua, when he used to hate him on principle. And how Ayan is so gentle with Kan, not pushing like he does with Akk, or even gently goading like he has with Thua; he knows Kan is just barely coming to understand himself, unlike Akk and Thua, who both know themselves even if they have trouble accepting and defending themselves.
