I just got really overwhelmed by sound in a place I'm unable to leave.

So I put earplugs in.

I'm not diagnosed with anything, but ever since realizing that sometimes when I can't handle something, that other people are fine with, it might be for a reason, I've been able to let myself deal with them in a way that will help me.

Before I would have just told myself I need to get over it, get used to it. But now I realize that it's more important to listen to myself, and that realization is making me so happy.
