23. 1. 2020 What I've been up to :)

I haven't posted in a while, but I passed another final, went to Ikea and finished another essay. Right now I have just two finals left and their both oral - from English and literature. Today I prepared my English presentation! The topic I chose is Creative and cultural industries: What is the value of culture and does it contribute to the economy? :)

8. 6. 2020 - I actually did a thing! 🥰

So my information science final is next week and I looked at all of our lecture material and took notes only today. Did anyone else spend the entirety of quarantine just mentally and physically wasting away?

Better late than never but knowing me I will still feel bad about it untill the end of time.

30. 1. 2020 My first finals are over!

Today was my last exam in this semester and it went waaaaay better than I could have dreamed of. I feel really proud of myself on this day, so I'm just having a quiet afternoon to myself reading Robert Louis Stevenson's The Suicide Club.

I know some places people have to annotate books for school but we don't really teach literature like that here in the Czech Republic. It's just something I'd started doing for fun, because I really enjoy it. Some books just fill me with many thoughts :D

Now I will have two weeks off before the spring semester starts :) I'll see what I get up to and if I'll have something to post for you ♡

27. 3. 2020 - Has life been serving too much depresso to anyone else? I've done literally nothing since my last post but today I've been summoned from the dead to do an assignment that's due by midnight. I've never before even handed something in the day off (always a few days in advance) let alone less than an hour before the 'homework vault' closes :( But it's still on time so I should be happy about that!

15. 1. 2020 Started an essay that's due next week :)

I have another this upcoming Monday and figured four days is enough time to study for it, so instead of doing that I started writing an essay. It's due next weekend, but I want to submit it early, because I need next week to prepare for my last finals.

So far my first finals season is going really smoothly, since I was able to leave a lot of time between all my exams :D I will definitely keep doing it like this if I can. I find it's better for me to have my stress evenly distributed over time, rather than having it all at once♡

14|1|20 finally stopped procrastinating :')

So after my finals on Friday I decided to take a day of, because I was so tired from studying, and then that break turned into procrastination. But I'm back to my senses now :D and I finished lecture notes for a course about medieval universities and literature that I didn't get to during the semester. I also took a test on my computer at home for one of my courses :).

I got final test results on those two Friday exams and I passed both of them! And I somehow got an A on the one I was dreading the most!

I'm so happy about it♡ Although I don't care about grades this year, since I will be going somewhere else next school year, it still feels damn nice to do well :D I suppose I might be an overachiever sometimes.
