Confessions Headcanons

Tobirama would have a harder time acknowledging his feelings and coming to terms with them, even if you were someone he was very close with and if you were someone he had loads of trust in

That being said, his confession may take a very long time.

To his brother, his subtle changes in behavior around you, and the way he addresses you are a dead give away that you make his little brother feel a certain way

He just knows, with the almost bashed manner in which Tobirama sides with you that those feelings are positive.

Hashirama would feel obligated to give Tobirama and you a nudge, a push really, but the second Tobirama caught wind of that idea, he shut it down. This was his private affairs, he would deal with them himself.

Gradually, the time that takes Tobirama to accept his feelings turn into a period of mutual, at times oblivious, pining.

Then, he'd finally start planing on how to confess

It wouldn't be anything grandiose or that fancy, he just isn't a guy for it but he'd still like for it to have some meaning to add to the weigh of his words

It has been eating his inside out for the past few months, if not even years - he can't just blurt it all out no matter how he may come off as

So, he takes the chance to confess at your usual spot on a free weekend he has. A beautiful creek with a lush, giant of a tree watching over it. That was the place the two of you usually went to wind down together, to meditate or simply bask in each other's presence.

Tobirama remembers this spot all too well from his youth. Many memories surrounded that particular tree, with its branches hanging so low one might mistake the tree for an oversized willow. The tree had seen much tragedies over the years, including the ones from his youth but nonetheless the tree seemed to draw him in all the time. It brought him peace.

It drew him to meet you.

When he goes to confess, it's the first time he stumbles over his words, the first time warmer hues dust his cheeks, the first time Tobirama feels the anxious feeling of butterflies in his stomach - even if he tells himself he's perfectly calm, he is not.

You can feel he's nervous and trying to hide it

But he doesn't let you interrupt him, please don't, just let him get the words out

Finally, as he draws his conclusion, confession, to an end, he notices how your eyes twinkle with mirth and how your fingers flinch with withdrawn energy. Your chakra felt almost overwhelmingly excited and happy

He's almost confused, awe struck, shell-shocked - you name it

And when you take his hand in yours, he can finally feel the butterflies in his stomach explode into nothing and be replaced by a feeling of pure serenity. His peace of mind finally returned to him, and silently he vowed to make both of your lives better, as best his ability can allow.

Crickets were singing and the moon was high above the village by the time the door opened. Creaking quietly as the silver head rested half his weight on the door knob. He walked inside languidly, one foot in front of the other with the heaviness of the world tied around his ankles. His whole body was sore, every muscle aching and begging for relief. The air was swirling with the scent of soft flower petals, the autumn grass and the night's minty chill, but your light scent would never go amiss by his nose. In the moment Kakashi recognized your scent he heard the soft thumps of your foot falls approaching him in the hall, before he even saw you his lungs gave out a sigh in pure relief. For the time the mission lasted he longed to be back with you, home. It was still weird to think about, but he believed this home would last - he knew it, Kakashi felt it in his very bones. Your eyes shined at the sight of him, such a pure reaction it made his heart soar and swell in his chest. Kakashi met you halfway in the hall, bringing his arms around you as you brought yours around him.

It was too late for you to be awake, yet here you were, waiting for him. You sweetly greeted him in a gentle tone; it was too late and he was too tired for any louder volumes. Yet it all made for intimacy to blossom with those hushed exchanges of questions and happy welcomes. Two of his fingers dipped and pulled down his mask in order to leave a chaste kiss on your lips before you two pulled apart. It was a soft and gentle, it made his heart flutter as if it was his first. You did him the kindness of helping him with his Flak jacket, shoes and getting him some warm food. The kitchen was swirling with wisps of smoke when he returned from the bathroom. Pot that boiled over the stove smelled so lovely, salty with a pinch of something he couldn't identify through his hazy mind. The new clothes now felt like a blessing, he felt so much lighter and cleaner. Your very presence alone was enough to bring Kakashi back to earth; he could only watch you as you moved about, silent as a cat on your skilled feet.

The dining room was dimly lit by a lamp on the counter, its golden hue illuminating the side of his face so softly. Gold touch to his features, shimmering. But he was so tired. The dark bags under his eyes were further proof of it, he barely got proper rest and the mission's physical work took its toll on him, this time greatly. Soft sounds of porcelain clinking was a silent rhythm in the room, comforting in a way. As soon as he was finished with the food he was grabbing your wrist with care, and pushing his face into the crook of your neck. With little words and hums and sounds of soothing you embraced him, staying like that for a long moment before slowly guiding him to the bed you shared. Kakashi's body dipped the second his knee hit the edge of the bed and you both fell onto the plush mattress and pillows.

"I missed you.." he hushed so quietly you almost missed it with the rustling of sheets and the fluttering of wind through the open window. The stars had already made their appearance, twinkling through the window and bringing some light to the room. However the moon outshone them all.

You responded by running your fingers through the back of his hair, humming. "I missed you too..so much" Glancing down at him, the golden lamp hue was replaced by a gentle silver one. It matched his hair and added a certain shimmer to his eyes when he looked up at you.

You felt him smile as shifted again, trying to hide his face in your neck again. But with a little nudge he brought his face to lay on your chest, his arms seizing you round your waist. His exhale of pure exhaustion made the sides of your mouth twitch downwards for a moment, your fingers still combing through his hair. You couldn't take away the stress and exhaustion from his mission, but you were more than rejoiced and relieved to have him back. Perhaps one day, you would stay like this forever, trapped in the moment of pure comfort.

The soft thumps of your heart echoed in Kakashi's ears, a sure reminder you were still here, safe, with him and alive. It was a silent lullaby that quickly coerced him to surrender himself to sleep. An utter bliss he felt as he slowly drifted away was indescribable. With the love of his life in his arms, and their hand in his hair.

Yamato sees a dozen people daily, sometimes he just likes to find a nice edge to sit at and just observe the rest of the world buzz pass him. It is quite a relief not having to be involved in such classified things, and just be human for once. A citizen of Konoha.

It isn't often that someone really gets his attention in the sea of faces that he watches, yet fate seemed to have some surprises in stock for him.

You.

You seemed to stand out from the rest of them all; such particular lines of your face, the shape and color of your eyes, the way your eyes light up or darken depending on the situation, the way your lips curl when you smile or frown - it is an understatement to say that Yamato has a keen eye for such details, it is one of the many things his training earned him

Day by day, Yamato slowly realized how interesting you are, so much more than he thought

It was hard to not notice the paint stains on your fingers, skin and sometimes even clothes. Yamato would quickly pick up the curiosity on the matter and would eventually find you stationed just outside the training grounds, where you sat painting the sunset. The river that flowed through the valley was nothing short of beautiful and he couldn't blame you for picking his favorite spot to paint in your own style

That would be the time he gave himself a push, and approached you. He wasn't the ANBU agent, nor was he a ninja, he was just another human with you, just Yamato- and he never felt more liberated

Your conversations start there, and over the next days he would often visit that same spot in hopes of continuing the conversation you two left off at. He felt like a civilian with you, with no burdens such as battles and death.

Eventually, the two of you would start meeting up, and conversing about things outside of art and scenery, it was the most calm and natural flow of events that unfolded like a flower in spring after long months of snow

He feels giddy when he first brings you a gift, or when he first pays for your food, or the first time he brushed his fingers against yours-

His confession is something that was subconsciously planned, it's equal to a bubble on the water's surface, it collects and collects and it's so beautiful yet filled with this undetected tension, and suddenly it bursts, rippling the water in the most gentle way

It would happen somewhere private, perhaps at your home, or at that high mountain ledge beneath the trees, or even at that valley you painted your first image in his company

His words are jumped, but they carry the clear message; he holds your hands so carefully and when your lips meet his, his heart soars

Kakashi would have noticed this giddy behavior about him sooner than Yamato would have liked, and would subtly hint at it, giving Yamato encouragement through light teasing. The silver head was also the person Yamato would try to ask for tips, something, anything- and through his own words Kakashi would lead him to an answer

Eventually, as you two grew attached even more, he would make you a ring, a wooden swirl of details on such a small item were fascinating, with a small gem framed in the middle of it. Knowing your love for art and crafty work, he believed that this would hit your heart more than in the case he just went out and bought a ring - and he stood correct in that sense. You adored it.

The kids(Naruto, Sakura, Sai..etc) saw the two of you as the best couple around, sometimes laughing at the way Sensei Yamato got so blushy and nervous when the more romantic aspects were brought up; he was always thinking about you. The kids also loved you and looked up at you, some of them even spent hours at your art station, watching you paint or telling you stories of how their day went. Sai was the one that painted alongside you the most, both of you quietly enjoying each other's company. It was a sight Yamato was happy to see.

Your wedding was nothing short of sweet and memorable. It took place sometime in the spring, with all the flowers in it's full bloom, petals swirled all around you as you shared your first kiss as husband and bride.

And when your pregnancy was announced - boy, was Yamato quite worried something may go wrong. Yet he stays grounded, for you. He tries to get as educated on the topic as much as he can, and although the pregnancy was more or less planned, it didn't allow him much time to breathe - he was so happy.

Years ago before he met you he believed he would continue to simply fight, and fight, and slowly wither away in one of many wars and battles. And yet here he stood, with a partner of his dreams and a child on the way, things couldn't be looking any brighter.

As a father, Yamato has patience of a mountain, and is quite attentive to his kid(s). He can't help but let his motherly side take over, as he makes sure his child is not hurt or in need of anything. He makes sure they are fed, clothed well and that are not being harmed in any way. Same goes for you, he's the most gentle husband he can be, although at certain times he can come off as too dotting.

At end of a long day he can't help but collapse in your arms, bringing you into his embrace and drift off into the comforting darkness with your scent under his nose.

As mentioned, Yamato is really gentle and attentive, he has a keen eye for reactions and will stop at anything to ensure you are safe and well taken care off - this also goes for the bedroom activities.

He's quite nervous about doing it with you the first time you shed clothes together, he will need some reassurance from you but the moment he catches wind of it all, he has it handled. And even before he does his best to make sure you are comfortable and receiving pleausure

He will eat you out for as long as he needs to, getting you off more than once and seeing you writhe and squirm in pleasure makes him all the more aroused - knowing he was the one behind your reactions

I'd like to remind you that zhongli was still in possession of his gnosis at the time. my man was literally ready to throw hands if anything went wrong.

I'll rephrase - even if he was tired and weighted down by being a god, by everything he went through, he was ready to throw his dream of being a normal human away for his people. for their sake.

he didn't act because he wanted to see if liuye could live without him, because he wanted the best for them.

you really think that rex lapis, someone who stood at the very first row of his army while going to any war, never left anyone behind, went undercover and talked to his people to get to know them better, cared about every single one of his devotees, has adepti who are ready to die for him, would just not care if his country was in any danger.

zhongli is such a good god, person, father, teacher and friend. I just don't understand how some people can mischaracterize him. go read his lore or something smh.
