Me to my brain: Stop fixating on the food. Look at Jimin, he’s beautiful and handsome and somehow went straight into a perfect smolder moments after taking a bite of his mystery — seriously what is that? A massive juici patty? Is he eating Jamaican street food right now?

My brain: And why is he dressed like a grandpa in a bathrobe and silky pajama pants?

Me: OMG THE THUMB IN THE CORNER that means he was hanging out with at least one other grandparent. YOONGI? Where’s Yoongi?!

I can’t with how many of you predicted he would go live as soon as Jimin left 🤣 are you guys way too good or is our man way too predictable? 😂😂

It's amazing to me that people can look at Jikook's relationship and see anything other than the deepest form of love. When asked if JM was tired of JK filming him he responded, "never, I promised him I'd go to even to the moon with him." He supports JK in any and everything he wishes to pursue. He's his biggest supporter and fan. This fact couldn't be clearer, not a rehearsal or recording in which Jm isn't present. And he receives just as much as he gives.

Jungkook once said during a Muster, "there is not a single secret kept between (him and JM)." And when asked to highlight members best attribute he posted a picture of JM's entire body showing there isn't a single piece of JM that isn't perfect (he did this for no other member). Similar to JM, JK can be spotted at all JM's rehearsals because he too is JM's biggest advocate and support. And the beautiful thing is...this isn't new.

I don't understand why people go as far as to not only reject the ship but also their clear friendship! There is no disputing that JM and JK are each others person romantic or platonic. JM called JK his soul brother and they consider Serendipity "their" song, even accused the actual author of the song "Namjoon" of plagiarism when he used the phrase "I am you and you are me!"

JK hurt or sick who's there? JM. JK's birthday who's there? JM. JK sad or down he doesn't seek out any one other than JM. When asked who gives you the most comfort a young JK without hesitation said JM.

Whenever JM is absent you'll see a lonely JK. Jm is JK's person and even though he can't say that he prefers JM explicitly he consistently heavily implies it and JM prefers him. To reject this is to reject logic, reason, and what is right in front of our eyes.

The members have taken long breaks before and in the past JK laughed about even though they are in the same group he didn't talk to any of them other than JM and J-Hope in the time they were apart. But now that JM is apart from him he makes long videos dedicated to JM, tweets he misses him, and looks overjoyed whenever they interact. Their relationship isn't the same as others. This shouldn't be disputed...it should be admired. The fact that we fight about it makes no sense to me. JM and JK don't belong to us, we should let them live their lives with and whoever they choose to live it with...and be happy for them.

This is for the people who claim that Jikook don’t hang out anymore, and thus are not ‘real.’

So, I’m one of those people who discovered Jikook just by watching a lot of BTS content, simply because their behaviour is impossible to ignore if you’re even slightly open to seeing it.

But even though Jikook definitely interested me, I wasn’t very emotionally invested. Even so, I kind of feared being wrong and completely misunderstanding the situation.

(Which is always a possibility when we have only a part of the information, only some of the puzzle pieces of a much larger picture. And as much as BTS has shared with their fans, especially in previous years, it’s really just pieces, most of which have been curated with the fans in mind. Also, confirmation bias is an extremely powerful thing).

So yeah, I was weary of believing anything fully, no matter what the truth appeared to be —retaining a healthy level of doubt, and all that. And I’m sure others can relate, because I know many Jikookers are very fearful of doing anything even comparable to delving into the delusional territory of, say, T**kookers.

But at some point I realised that my reasoning was utterly flawed. Like, I was so afraid of being irrational that it made me irrational? The way I would relate to Jikook was overly critical, shortsighted and ultimately embarrassingly imperceptive.

It all basically boils down to, well, precedent. Patterns of behaviour (it’s sounds so obvious, but I was kind of blind to the significance of this for a while so maybe others are, too).

Of course things change, circumstances change, people change, that’s the way of life. But things don’t happen as isolated incidents. This also pertains to Jikook. Not considering context, both immediate and preceding, is more likely to give you the wrong impression, than if you look at something through the lens of prior knowledge. That doesn’t automatically make you biased, nor your perception flawed.

So back to Jikook not hanging out (assumption) and therefore no longer being close (assumption based on an assumption). I’m not saying this absolutely can’t be the case, but I struggle to see why people are so quick to believe it when we have years of consistent patterns of behaviour that go against this.

Just take a step back, think ‘big picture.’ What do you think makes more sense:

1. That Jikook no longer spend time together, that once the solo chapter began they suddenly grew distant?

Or

2. That Jikook are probably meeting up as always, just without our knowledge, at a time when we see so little and when it is also to their benefit that they aren’t too closely associated?

That’s not even taking into account their many recent Vlive interactions, which are basically steeped in adoration.

My point is, I think some Jikookers are so concerned with keeping a rational attitude that they end up veering into irrational thinking. But there’s no need to complicate things, when you don’t get too hung up on the details the picture is really quite clear.

Also, on an unrelated note but not really at all, Letter exists —like, how amazing is that?

Its not a "silky pajama pant". Lol.

It's his tiffany suit pant. Must be before or after the event, sat down for a quick bite.

Oh, well there you go. That makes the robe make more sense too, gotta protect the pants!
