Ive Got The Scene Where Amaya Puts The Orchid In Her Hair When Things Are Getting Dire At The Bookery
I’ve got the scene where Amaya puts the orchid in her hair when things are getting dire at the Bookery to feel Janai close and to give her strength playing on repeat in my head. These girls are so soft for each other it’s insane

Second part of the fill for @arcane-ish Timebomb: we know that Powder has drawn Ekko (council archives) and Ekko has drawn Powder (wall), do you figure they have drawn each other more often/what kind of other drawings have they made of each other? Has Ekko drawn Jinx specifically and in what circumstances did he draw her the first time? (Hey, I tried to add some fluffiness, but this one wound up being kind of unavoidably angsty due to le circumstances) Ekko and Jinx used to draw each other all the time as kids. They were much better about staying still and holding a pose for each other than the older kids were, so they used each other for practice a lot. Ekko tends more towards a realistic, portrait style of art, while Jinx leans towards a more stylized, cartoonish method. A lot of their early drawings of each other are of them making silly, exaggerated expressions or trying to hold goofy poses. After the deaths of Vander and his family, it took some time before it came to light that Jinx was still alive and with Silco. During that time, Ekko started drawing sketches of Powder based on the ones he’d already made. When he found out Powder was still alive, he didn’t know what to think at first. He tried to get her alone to talk to her, thinking she needed to be rescued, but she coldly told him that Vi had abandoned her after Powder’d killed their family and that she was living with Silco, now. She tells him to leave her alone because she isn’t Powder anymore, she’s Jinx, and Jinx isn’t his friend. He goes home in complete shock and the next time he sees the sketches he’d been working on all the betrayal and confusion and anger overwhelm him and he almost throws them out. He can’t quite do it, though, and he later uses them as a base to add Powder to the memorial wall. Even though he has to fight Jinx as an enemy, now, he decides he can still mourn the memory of the girl that was his friend because her memory is still precious to him. Jinx misses Ekko terribly in the days and weeks after her family dies. She constantly wants to see him, but knows that if she does she’ll have to tell him what happened and what she did. Once she can do more than lie in bed and cry, she finds her old drawing supplies and starts drawing pictures of her family and Ekko and even Benzo since she knows he died as well. She’s driven by a combination of guilt and longing, so the drawings range from frantic and messy to painstakingly careful. Those pages are littered with scratched out faces and messily written apologies. They mostly still live in a pile at the bottom of the box that the Mylo sculpture’s feet are propped up on in her workshop.
i was rewatching heart part 1 and i noticed that in the beginning perfuma was putting flowers in frosta’s hair, look at how cute they are

yall ever just wanna sob thinking about sai and how he just genuinely loves drawing and the moments regarding his most important drawings are almost always pictures he draws of his friends cause WOW i do
Ino loves flower arranging but she usually has to follow what the customer orders. So she feels a little frustrated that she can't always put together the arrangements she wants. Sai takes notice and asks her if she can put together one arrangement a week so he can paint it. She's excited to have a reason to make her own now. Ino's arrangements follow flower language and color theory. Her first arrangement says "thank you", thanking Sai for collaborating with her on this. Her next one stands for "I love you" because she loves Sai a whole bunch. Ino frames Sai's paintings of her arrangements and hangs them in the shop and she'll sell the paintings along with the arrangements so they can be kept passed the flowers dying. It becomes a novel thing that's nice because people can keep the "I love you" and "congratulations" arrangements from weddings and graduations etc and Sai's art becomes more popular. Ino sells his paintings for a lot but the money for the paintings goes to him because that's only fair. Sai's art becomes a very popular and sought after and Ino encourages him to show more of his portfolio because she knows he likes to keep his art private mostly but she wants him to show what he's comfortable with showing. Sai is proud of his art and he decides to share more of it because he trusts Ino. People love Sai's art and Ino encourages Sai to have an exhibition in an art gallery. It's a huge success and Sai becomes a famous artist very quickly. Ino and Sai continue to create flower arrangements and paintings together and they are both very happy. Ino is so proud of Sai. His art sells for high prices. They are thriving. They are having a great time collaborating together through their art forms. They're making that dosh. They're successful and happy.
