I know this blog has a fic tag but, do you have a list of personal favorite NedCan fanfics? I saw this blog in the Hetalia tag and it got me interested in the ship, I'd love some fic recs o:

To be honest 1) I’m kinda picky when it comes to fanfics and I hardly read them unless the writer is my friend/someone I know and I can trust their characterization and 2) I don’t have much time to read fics anymore, so I’m probably missing out on a lot of good NedCan fics out there (even though I try to reblog them all), so I would definitely recommend going through our fic tag. :) 

What I have been reading recenty are works by @historia-vitae-magistras (AO3)  and  @nedcanquen​ (AO3). I really like all of their works but from Magistras, I’m gonna recommend the fic she actually wrote for me for an exchange last year, Sweet Dreams Till the Sun Beams. It’s about Netherlands and Canada going on vacation, with the referendum for Quebec’s independence as a backdrop. I also highly recommend Magistra’s fics to anyone who wants NedCan in historical settings that aren’t always WWII. (Waring for some s3xual content in some of them). As for Quen, my faves from her are her two ongoing series, Mr 7th Floor (Human AU, office romance) and Le Loupgarou (Historical Werewolf AU).

Your wishes have been granted! This year the sixth annual APH Rarepair Exchange will be taking place, aimed at satisfying your overlooked-pairing needs this holiday season!

How does it work?

You will be filling out a wishlist form with the pairings you’d like to receive. When partners have been assigned, you will receive someone else’s wishlist. You will then write or draw your partner a gift based on their wishlist. Your partner will receive your gift from you and you will receive a gift from the person who had your wishlist.

What can I request?

You can request anything and everything from het ships to crack ships. This event is aimed at helping increase the number of fanworks for uncommon ships. All ships will be accepted except for the most popular ones. Please make sure to check this before signing up.

When can I sign up?

Click here to sign up. Sign-ups run from now until November 28th at 11:59pm EST. You will receive your partner’s wishlist on December 1st, and will have until the 25th to make their present.
