I wish atlus made a reload level remake to Digital devil saga with content they couldn't fit on the og games and a few more cut scenes. But honestly i think if they make a decent remaster with QOL and some improved graphics i would fucking cry of happiness.

I mean... it has language in the name. I don't see why they can't have classes on sign language, even as an elective.

adventures in smt apocalypse

So I've been getting into Devilman as of lately, and boy is it one hell of a bloody ride!

I knew about it in the past but never got into it for some reason. I say some reason because my favorite video game franchise, Shin Megami Tensei, has a lot of Devilman references in it and nods to the Devilman franchise.

Hell! Even the main mechanic that you see in 90% of the games instalment features the fusion system, and that was based on how the demons in Devilman can merge with other demons to become stronger.

At some point I caved and decided to watch Devilman Crybaby (which was about 10 episodes), and I liked it. Was very lewd at the beginning half but I didn't mind it. This story ain't got a happy ending, it's gonna make you cry. I heard from some people that the pacing's bad but I didn't have a problem with the pacing. (probably because I have ADHD)

It was also animated by Science SARU, one of the founders being Masaaki Yuasa who made Kaiba, which is a sci-fi love story. You can watch it on Youtube.

Crybaby had my favorite design iteration of Akira's Devilman form. It's so cute. He's like an ugly cat that you just can't help but love.

@satogacrank's art jump started my journey into going deeper into Devilman. Their Devilman art really cemented my view of Akira's demon form being a cute yet ugly cat creature (ok, the bottom half isn't a cat, it's like a wolf according to the expanded universe, but whatever). They make Amon look so handsome and smexy and I just... look I'm trying my best at being normal about it. (Also, Amon is the demon that merge's with Akira to become Devilman)
