Sometimes I remember the start of Too Hot to Handle, when Pandor is offering money to anybody who can open his containment suit and Kevin shows up to give it a go. Just, he's professional, he's polite, he doesn't start anything.

I don't know, it just shows up to rotate in my brain on occasion. He shows up for the job, but the second things start smelling fishy he's firmly but not rudely asking for more information before he proceeds. When Pandor tries to brush his concerns off rather than get a hot head, even a little, he just makes it clear that he doesn't do business like that, he expects to get all relevant information and if you won't provide it then clearly you aren't doing business with him. As he's leaving, he politely acknowledges the other people there to give it a shot as he passes them, doesn't try to convince them to walk away, doesn't act like he's above any of them for not already being in the process of doing so (which, tell me that's not what Ben would have done in that situation).

Just, it's a rare moment that shows how he managed to become a professional arms dealer by sixteen. He has a hot temper, but he can keep a handle on it, and above all we're shown that under normal circumstances he's very professional.

But then, we see this in X = Ben + 2 as well. For all the shit that goes down with the Incurseans, Kevin keeps a clear head and track of the situation. He knows where the lines are and importantly stays within them.

Plus, we get his behavior during Save the Last Dance... Kevin very clearly understands the importance of making a good impression, and is fully capable of taking doing so seriously when he feels it's called for. Whether that be in his personal life or his work life.

Just, rotates in the brain...
