Easy Hawaiian Chicken

This is adapted from a recpie I saw on Facebook. The one I saw called for brown sugar but I felt that would be too sweet.

2 large chicken breasts 1 cup crushed pineapple 1/3 cup soy sauce 1/2 tbsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp ground ginger 1 tbsp sesame seeds 1/2 red bell pepper chopped 1/2 sweet onion chopped

All of the ingredents go in the slow cooker. Cook for six hours on low or until chicken is just starting to fall apart.

The Beginning of the Beginning

I wanted to be so many things in this life. When we were kids, my cousin and I wanted to be chefs who were also marine biologists. I barely graduated high school and only made it through my third semester of college before I got burnt out, decided to take a break and never went back. Now, I'm in a long-term relationship, a full-time mom and a part-time burger flipper. I've had a LOT of jobs in my life and being a mom is by far the coolest one. I'd still like to go back to school. As a matter of fact, I'll be starting internet classes in the fall if things go as planned. Cross your fingers for me. But, even if I never get to go back, I'm fairly content with my life. Everyone wants to be important. All I have to do now to remind myself that I'm important in this world is to look at my son as he looks up at me.

I will definately be making these this week!
