Does anyone else imagine their fantasies in the campy, goofy style of late '90s, early 2000s stoner/screwball comedies? Y'know, laced with a bunch of wacky and exaggerated characters that all make Jim Carrey faces as well as a healthy dose of cartoon sound effects that make it sound like it's a Nickelodeon show that's been turned into a made for TV film. Honestly, I kind of want it to make a comeback. I feel like it would fit right in to the current landscape of absurdist, nonsensical humor that we already have now.

An updated version of these types of movies I'd like to see would be ones where they have more representation of the broad spectrum of sexuality. It's well known that these types of movies were very sex heavy when it came to their plots which in of itself is fine for comedy. However, whether this was for how certain body types were seen, or queer characters (or lack thereof), their presentation was lacking.

I've been of the belief for some time that in order to authentically represent conventional and unconventional beauty as equally attractive, the playing field has to be leveled, and the writing cannot take itself too seriously. I think that this style of comedy is perfect for these two things as there are many dynamics that you could play with depending on the story.

For example, you could have a story with 3 male characters who each have a different body type, but with a specific thing that makes them irresistible to their love interests. Try this on for size:

Character 1: Muscle hunk type who is typically confident and little cocky, but slightly chubby as he's going through a bulk and is a little insecure about it, but his love interests loves his squishy pecs.

Character 2: Tall, thin, lanky, and nerdy, but there's rumors going around that he more than makes up for that with what he's hiding "down there". (Think punchline where his love interest walks in to class or work and can't walk)

Character 3: Middle of the road, average height, weight and not a lot of muscle definition, but the fattest ass in a 5-mile radius. Everyone stops and stares when he bends over. You could have a scene where he's running somewhere and there's a cartoonish "boing" as he runs or one where he splits his pants in front of his love interest to her amusement and arousal, and to his embarrassment.

Assistance With "Lost Media" Fart Scenes

Hello, everyone. I hope you've all been well.

In collecting scenes for videos on my channel, I use a variety of transcript websites that allow me to see if a movie or show has a fart in it as noted by various sound descriptors such as: "(FARTS)" "(BREAKS WIND)", or "(FLATULENCE)".

In doing so, I have come across various scenes that while showing that there are farts in these pieces of media, are unable to be found when I search for them.

Thus, I would like to make a post similar to one that my mutual @kipercrow made last year when asking for help collecting scenes for their Male vs Male Fart Contest Scene Compilation video that was posted last year.

The following is a list of scenes that contain male fart scenes as evidenced by their respective transcripts that I've been unable to locate as of yet. If anyone who comes across this can assist, I'd greatly appreciate. Thank you.

Peter Kay's Comedy Shuffle - Series 2 Episode 2

The Javone Prince Show - Episode 3

Roll Shaker - Episode 16 ("Breaking Soup")

Comedy Feeds - Series 1 Episode 3

SKETCHY With Diarmuid Corr - Series 2 Episode 6

How Not to Behave - Episode 4 ("Love and Dating")

STOP SAYING THERE ARE FART GAGS (PLURAL) IN YOUR REVIEW IF THERE IS ONLY ONE JOKE IN THE ENTIRE MOVIE.

STOP SAYING THERE ARE FART GAGS (PLURAL) IN YOUR REVIEW IF THERE IS ONLY ONE JOKE IN THE ENTIRE MOVIE.

NOT ONLY IS IT A COMPLETE MISREPRESENTATION OF THE FILM'S HUMOR TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO WATCH IT BUT IT MAKES IT VERY DIFFICULT WHEN FINDING FART SCENES.

HOW HARD IS IT TO SAY "it has a fart gag".

My favorite color is green, and it has been my entire life. I even once painted one of my walls green when I was in elementary school.

However, I'd never known my parents' favorite colors because I'd never asked my dad, and when I'd tried to ask my mom, in true motherly fashion, she gave me the politician's non-answer of "Well, it's hard for me to pick, because I like all colors." or, "I go back and forth with what colors I like". Ugh. Girl, just pick one.

A couple days ago though, I asked them what theirs were, and my dad responded with blue, and my mom, staying true to herself, left me with the same lack of an answer. The next day though, she said her favorite colors were yellow and grey.

It makes sense, yellow+blue=green, and I think that's really sweet and a perfect way to describe the way they are both a part of me.

To all the gymgoers, bodybuilders, etc., out there, I want to remind you that cutting is not that difficult. All you have to do is be raised in a Dr. Oz watching and fad diet trend following household that borderline creates eating disorders by chastising you whenever you eat something after 10pm.

Someone needs to do a study on the cultural implications of the show House M.D. and the way it created an entire generation of people who use the fact that they're neurodivergent and "don't understand social cues" as justification for their incredibly antagonistic and purposefully rude behavior that they're carrying out to "stick it" to neurotypicals.

The impossible task it is to want to make and post kink (in my case, farting) edit videos of influencers you find hot where you're able to successfully toe the line between people (including the influencer) finding it funny while people who have the same kink as you are able to quietly enjoy it without harassing people, or crossing boundaries.

My unpopular opinion is that I think that some marginalized people who do problematic things on a constant basis use the fact that they're marginalized as a way to avoid and silence criticism for situations they've knowingly created.

They do this by spinning a narrative where they can play the victim and act entirely innocent since they know there will be a fair amount of people who will use their actions as the basis for making generalized and bigoted statements about their respective communities.

From here, their job is done as they can bank on the fact that members of these communities will quickly rush to their defense. In turn, they are distracted from their initial goal of holding these people accountable as most people cannot give equal attention to two issues at once. Rinse and repeat.

In essence, it's like if your younger sibling kept doing things to get under your skin and when you finally decide you've had enough, that's when they yell for your parents since they know that being younger gives them the upper hand in getting what they want.

I feel like this practice encourages marginalized people to engage in toxic and unjustified behavior against non-marginalized people under the guise of oppression and that people should "make space" for them to exist.

While people may say that they don't want to engage in "Oppression Olympics" or say that anyone has it worse or better than anyone else, the fact of the matter is that it's unproductive and harmful to these communities to spend more time and energy trying to protect people who are clearly attention seekers than on people who really need it.

Ironically enough, it's this same practice of making it seem as though the person you've been attacking is now attacking you, that oppressors carry out constantly, so it's essentially one big pendulum swing of who gets to be manipulative when telling the story.

Marcus from The Bear is great representation for neurodivergent people who use the fact that they're neurodivergent as a way to shield themselves from valid criticism when they've done something wrong. In turn, this allows them to exempt themselves from taking accountability for a situation they've knowingly caused using manipulative infantilization (whether intentionally or unintentionally), where they claim they've never been informed otherwise.

One thing about me is that I’m kinda obsessed with urban planning and another thing about me is that I’m furious, ENRAGED. About the blatant contempt that modern infrastructure projects have for walkability.
