[PREFERENCE TO CONFUSION]

[PREFERENCE TO CONFUSION]

Israel has to continue living in a state of “grey lines” by delaying to adopt a Constitution as Israel is forced to do these if they have a Constitution :

Acknowledge borders that would be detrimental to settlement expansion

Human Rights for all including : right to property and movement for Palestinians

Citizenship Issues

[PREFERENCE TO CONFUSION]

What Israel has :

Israel only have “Basic Laws” enacted by the Knesset. It’s not a Constitution but these laws have constitutional status

[PREFERENCE TO CONFUSION]

What Can Israeli Courts do:

The Courts can review “Basic Laws”, overturning any law that is against the Basic Law. This includes reviewing government decisions such as military decisions. This is why the Knesset passed a law to limit the Court’s powers.

[PREFERENCE TO CONFUSION]

Other Countries:

The Constitution has supreme power. The power is delegated to other branches. In short, all power is sourced from the Constitution, and no branch can be “above” from the constitution

[PREFERENCE TO CONFUSION]

Israel:

Since there is no Constitution, it is unclear which branch has power to do something or how much power a branch has.

The Knesset passes “Basic Law”, a series of law that has constitutional status, where the Courts can review any law that is against “Basic Law”.

It is universal thought that the judiciary must not usurp the powers of the Executive or Legislative branch.

By not having a Constitution, Israel continues to trap itself in more chaos and uncertainty. *Refer to previous postings and the reasons above on why Israel is reluctant and continuously delays on having a Constitution

It seems Israel prefers to be in much confusion rather than returning Palestinians their rights

[PERPETUAL EMERGENCY]

[PERPETUAL EMERGENCY]

Israel has forever been in a state of emergency, with the very first Proclamation of Emergency in 19th May 1948 never been revoked even after 76 years since Israel’s establishment

[PERPETUAL EMERGENCY]

What happens when an emergency is declared?

When the government declares an emergency, the Legislative Branch would then lose their power to enact laws.

Precedence would be given to the Executive Branch in enacting emergency laws as the country is in a “state of emergency”

[PERPETUAL EMERGENCY]

What does this mean to Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza?

This means that Israel can use Emergency Regulations, ie the Palestine Defence Emergency Regulations 1945 within Israel. This law has allowed detaining people without charge or trial, demolish homes, withhold corpses, expelling people and putting civilians in military courts.

[PERPETUAL EMERGENCY]

Laws Imposed Outside of Israel

But the issue lies in why is Israel enforcing this law on Palestinians outside of Israel, ie the West Bank and Gaza. As stated in previous postings, Israel has no jurisdiction to impose their laws outside of Israel.

All arrests, orders and procedures made by Israel on the West Bank and Gaza are void and illegal from the start as Israel has no jurisdiction outside of their borders set by the United Nations Resolutions.

Israel must return all Palestinians, dead or alive from Israeli Prisons and Detention Centres. All orders including movement restriction orders, curfews, expulsion and home demolition are void and must be revoked.

Viewers can refer previous postings on jurisdiction on the matter

Look at that cat, shaking his legs due to fear of all the bombs. Cannot walk anymore. Animals cannot hide their feelings. Imagine what Palestinians feels inside. Babies, children, mentally handicapped or handicapped people in general like blind and deaf people, elderly.

Where are you vegans and animal rights activist who supports israel?Perhaps the animals from Palestine are lower than animals in your country. Make some excuses. But, it's not my business.

That cat like others in palestine is traumatized for life.

That cat is lucky. He cannot hunt anymore since his limbs are paralyzed. Other animals like him will starve to death if they are not taken care of by humans. Thanks Israel and America

For Kian

For Nika

For Sarina

For Mahsa

For Armita

For all of them

And for all who are not born yet

To all the Iranian people out there

I know these are hard times for us

We have to witness all of isl*mic rep*blic's horrendous crimes just to come here and see some brainless regime apologizers cheering on this child killing regime

But there is still hope!

We should keep raising awareness about the crimes of this mullah regime

That's what the regime is afraid of: awareness

That's why you see their joke of a"cyber army" spreading propaganda everywhere

PLEASE KEEP SPEAKING OUT

KEEP SPEAKING OUT ABOUT THE CRUELTY OF THE MORALITY POLCE

KEEP SPEAKING ABOUT THE IMPRISONED INNOCENTS

KEEP SPEAKING ABOUT THE GENOCIDE OF BALOUCH AND KURDISH PEOPLE

Together we can defeat this blood thirsty regime

To everyone asking what's the point of sharing content about the protests in Iran and the killing of Mahsa Amini:

THE PEOPLE IN IRAN ARE BEGGING US TO SHARE THEIR PICS AND VIDS AND POST HER NAME!

Isn't that reason enough?

And do you know why they beg us for our attention?

BECAUSE IT'S MUCH HARDER FOR A GOVERNMENT TO KILL ITS CITIZENS WHILE THE WORLD IS WATCHING

Be their voice, say her name!

You really believe the Iranian government would cut access to social media if it didn't matter?

I don’t have all the answers about the mess going on down there, nor do most other people, 1) because mainstream news outlets are incentivized to push it under the U.S. Government’s ever-bulging rug, and 2) because people haven’t taken action due to reason 1.

But I do know that any protest that outcries and lays bare a government’s corruption, its deliberate moves to oppress its citizens, and its profiteering of the suffering of others must go on and ring out for everyone to hear.

In order to have a healthy democratic nation where we are permitted to—encouraged to disagree with others, to talk it out, brutality at the hands of the state is never-EVER-the first option.

Let the youths of America speak.

I got me some discourse to write. Let's talk about Christian privilege. When Christian privilege is brought up in most activist circles, it's talked about like a monolith. Unlike most of the intersectional work that goes into fleshing out white privilege and how it intersects with gender and class, that same careful analysis is rarely given to Christian privilege. Why? That's a question I can't answer. However: 1) #ThingsOnlyChristianWomenHear is highlighting how, although women still benefit from Christian privilege, their gender is much more devalued in a (fundamentalist) Christian context than it likely would be without the impact of Christianity. (Interestingly, it's also highlighting a lot of the Western roots of misogyny.) 2) Persecuted Christians do exist, just not in the U.S. (or most of the Western world) There are countries in the world in which being Christian is not a privilege at all and can result in loss of life and limb (e.g., Iran). So thinking about Christian privilege, or any type of privilege or oppression, requires a transnational lens to grasp the nuances it takes in other societies (and focusing just on the U.S. is itself revelatory of immense privilege). 3) BUT, with that being said, there are those who will use the above two points to try to argue that Christian privilege does not exist in a U.S. context. And that is demonstrably false. When being a good Christian is seen as a positive leadership quality, when revival meetings on college campuses can go on without interruption whereas Muslim students have to hide in staircases with their prayer mats, when evangelical ideology still plays a huge role in the direction of our nation's legislation and politics, when America is called a "Christian nation," all while being a good Hindu or good Pagan is viewed with suspicion and laughed to the edge of the ocean and people are praised who subject gay couples to harassment for simply ordering a wedding cake, one cannot tell me that no Christian privilege exists on our shores. -over and out-

hey, my kurdish friend wanted to point out that the iranian woman murdered by the police in tehran was a kurd and her kurdish name was jîna emînî. she has mostly been referred to as mahsa amini, the iranian version of her name, in the media & that can ofc still be used to make sure posts about her reach a mainstream audience. however people should make sure to mention her given kurdish name foremost, as well as highlight the fact that she was a kurd in the first place, because that played a part in her facing the violence that she did.

@aclu @reign-factors @newarkpolicedeparment ca

Fyi it went as far up as to the police chiefs office but was unfairly dismissed by a 3 second phone call. Which immediately after I went live on social media. To discuss what happens and the outcome so far. Badge 109 followed me about a week later taunting me while disrespecting while on my vehicle as she was in her police cruiser late at night from her outside speaker .

Dear ACLU,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to seek guidance and assistance regarding an incident that I recently experienced involving an illegal search conducted by an officer of the wrong sex.

To provide some background, after going to court and meeting all requirements from judge and victim to get restraining order changed to No ham order, I was subjected to a search during a civil standby(I called for assistance) by a law enforcement officer of the opposite sex. After being searched by one of same sex 5mins before. And requesting the same treatment was denied. This search not only violated my right to privacy but also raised concerns about the potential for gender-based discrimination and misconduct within the police force. Since on body cam there is the removal of medical labels from prescription bottles by police before transport. So denying my life saving health care from the month of September 2020 labor day at St rose. It is all captured on body cam. Which they the Newark Police Department I believe are fake.

I firmly believe that this search was conducted without just cause and was in direct violation of my constitutional rights. It is deeply troubling to me that such actions are taking place, as they not only undermine trust in law enforcement but also disregard the fundamental principles of privacy and personal dignity as well as orders from honorable presiding Judges.

I understand that the ACLU is dedicated to protecting civil liberties and fighting against injustices, so I am reaching out to you for guidance on how to proceed with addressing this situation. I am seeking your support in holding the responsible parties accountable for their actions and ensuring that this type of violation does not happen to others in the future.

I would greatly appreciate any advice or assistance you can offer in navigating the legal process and advocating for my rights. Please let me know how I can provide further details or documentation to support my case, as well as any specific steps I should take moving forward.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I have complete trust in the ACLU's commitment to justice, and I am grateful for your support in pursuing this issue and working towards a resolution.

Sincerely,

MR JR

Here's Another Poem I wrote

This is one of the two poems that I wrote this year for a black history assembly at my school.

Blind

Can’t see it.

Can’t feel it.

Can’t recognize it.

You’re blind.

You turn away from the struggle of others.

You won’t hear about the injustice.

You pretend it’s all in the past.

You’re blind.

Don’t act like isn’t here.

Don’t act like it isn’t there.

Don’t make-believe it's all gone away.

Don’t look away from all the pain.

Your guilt is telling you to turn away.

Your fear is making you hateful.

Your hate is turning you violent.

Your ignorance has made you blind.

@xenowarriorprincess you make a good point. I wasn’t intentionally separating female oppression from gender, I was more so attempting to acknowledge that they are different, while still showing that they are related. I do agree with you that the social construct of gender is oppressive (some bubbles of society may be mostly free from that oppression, but the larger world is not), however many people today are not ready to take such a big leap to abolish gender entirely.

So, some have come to the compromise of explaining their gender in so many unique and complex ways that their gender doesn’t really matter anymore to them or their peers, which in a way abolishes gender because their gender simply doesn’t exist in the original construction of gender. In another example, identifying as a specific gender, and then going against all societally constructed norms for that gender thus abolishes the societal construct of gender and gender norms. While doing all this, though, we aren’t recognizing that the problem stems from males oppressing females. I do wish we could recognize the problem head-on, but I don’t believe the world is ready for that yet.

So, I’ll say it. I agree with radical feminism in the sense of abolishing gender. However, I don’t believe that the world is ready for something that extreme, as is visible with the amount of people who sadly believe the idea is absurd. It is much easier (in my eyes) to obfuscate gender to the point of being insignificant than it is to abolish it head-on.

I do not agree with attacking people who choose to have a gender, whatever that gender might be, simply because they have a gender. I don’t agree with calling people “trans-identified males” or “trans-identified females”, nor do I agree with spouting lies about hormones being sold on Amazon. I do not agree with equating female to being a woman, nor equating being male to being a man. I don’t agree with attacking people purely because they go against your beliefs.

I agree with radical feminism, but not trans-exclusionary radical feminism. Nor do I agree with trans-exclusionary feminism. I understand that misogyny was originally based on sex, however many trans-women today are treated just as badly, if not worse, than cisgender women. I am not ignoring the history, I am simply focusing on the present.

I also find it quite interesting the number of people who identify as radical feminists of any type who still have a gender themselves, almost as a form of protection. I agree with the idea of abolishing gender, yet I still have a gender myself, because society today still seems to require that of us.

I do not say anything here to attack anyone. This is just a very interesting topic for me and I simply enjoy learning about it and seeing others perspectives on the issue. Sorry again this is so long lol

trans men are men

they still have to get pap smears from their gynecologists for their very real female bodies
