While we're at it, Pump would drink at Skid's 21st birthday even though he's a year younger. Because you cannot seriously tell me that a 20 year old Pump would give a flying fuck about drinking age laws.

Jaune and Lila used to be friends with Carmen. They were the only girls who didn't bully her for her weight, but in their teens Carmen's weight wet to all the right places and she ditched them for the popular girls.

This started as a bit of a joke, but I took a liking to it, Robert is actually his middle name, his first name is Tom. Which you might remember was his original name when The Stars came out. He prefers to go by Robert to better fit with his friends.

Here's the rundown of her plotline:

Hattie has a gay friend who's currently dating a guy from Iran whose visa shortly expires. The friend asks Hattie to marry the Iranian guy (whose name I can't remember) so he can stay in the UK.

The thing is that Hattie's been through a bad relationship with a nasty break up (that's all the info we get) and desperately wants another man in her life.

A few days after the "wedding", while her friend's out of town, she convinces the Iranian guy to come over, uses threats of reporting him and having him deported back to Iran if he doesn't stay the night, chains his leg to a radiator in his sleep and spends the rest of the season trying to brainwash him.

And yes, as I've said before, the writers somehow manage to make all of this simultaneously horrifying and hilarious.

I think that should make the parallels clearer.

You know, I was wondering why both Blitz and Fizz feel like they remind me of something but in different ways.

Then I remember Mr. Jelly from Psychoville, who is a crass, alcoholic, amputee birthday clown who is played by on of the show's creators.

Also, the doctor who helped Jelly get accustomed to his prosthetics took a liking to clowning and became Mr. Jolly, whom Jelly is in fierce competition with also being constantly mistaken for him.

Yes, this is a thinly veiled attempt at getting you to watch the show, but it was super underrated and had ARG elements that would've gotten it way more than just 2 seasons had it come out just a few years later. And if nothing else, it's better as a dramatic adult comedy than HB.
