Stolitz is NOT Based on a Lack of Communication

I just want to debunk the idea that Stolitz is only toxic due to a lack of communication between Blitz and Stolas. It is not. A lack of communication between partners is when one of the partners doesn’t properly express how they feel or when they outright hide information from the other partner.

When you try to apply this to Stolitz, it doesn’t work. Blitz FREQUENTLY expresses how he feels towards Stolas, he makes it VERY CLEAR that he feels uncomfortable and tries to set up boundaries to Stolas, however, Stolas doesn’t show any care for Blitz’s boundaries and continues to invade them. The problem isn’t a lack of communication, the problem is Stolas is an abuser.

"I hate how the show treats Blitz like he’s awful and Stolas is a good guy. This whole “relationship” is based on a coercive sex deal, where Stolas demeans Blitz (at least in the first season) and has him continue fucking him once a month so he can keep his business. What bothers me about Stella is that the show fails to take her feelings into account and does nothing but villainise her in order to woobify Stolas. Let us not forget that she was also forced into a loveless arranged marriage for the sole purpose of producing an heir, and her hating Stolas is completely justified when she sacrificed her happiness for the future of his throne only for him to cheat on her and neglect their daughter so that he could get his rocks off with Blitzø

The fact that this actually turned out to be true is both sad and funny. I’m getting more than sick of how much the show woobifies Stolas and never holds him accountable for anything he does

Theory that Striker isn’t in the pride art because he committed the common W of hating Stolas

Finally someone said it. I just wish that when Stolas got all pissy about Blitzø not personally showing up to save him, he told him the reason why. Blitzø had to be there for his daughter you feathered shithead, you should try doing that sometime.

Honestly Stolas has no right to be mad about Blitzø not saving him in Western Energy because of three reasons:

1. Blitz sent his partners to do it. He did not leave Stolas on his own, he helped him in the best way he could at the time

2. Blitz was trying to help his daughter and keep her safe from diseases. We know that this appointment took years to get, it's not like he could reschedule for another day. Sorry, but his daughter takes precident over his twink hookup who constantly sexualizes him and coerced him into a sexual relationship. Stolas has a daughter that he claims to love, so why doesn't he understand this?

3. In the first episode, Stolas sees Blitz and crew running for the lives while being shot at, and does absolutely nothing to help, instead trying to make a sex deal with Blitz while he's under duress. Why should Blitz be obligated to save this man who couldn't bother to do the same for him, despite being 100 times more powerful? It's hypocritical, it's a double standard, and I refuse to pity Stolas

So I wrote a new Helluva Boss fic, this time about Octavia receiving some much needed comfort from her aunt, Decarabia Goetia (My OC). Octavia needs a hug, and if no one’s going to give her one in canon, I’m going to make an OC up to give her one. (This is purely aunt/niece comfort. No incest)

I’d be able to take Helluva Boss a lot more seriously if the show didn’t act like hating Stolas (And plenty of characters have very justified reasons for hating him) was a crime against humanity

I’m only just realising how messed up Stolas’ proposal of his ‘deal’ with Blitzø was. When you come down to it, the ‘deal’ was actually pure coercion. ‘If you don’t have sex with me once a month, I’ll take back my grimoire, which means that you’ll lose your business, your employees will lose their jobs, and you won’t be able to provide for your daughter. But none of that will happen if you allow me to use you as a sex toy.’

I’m not saying that Stolas is a bad person, I’m just saying that if he watched The Hunchback of Notre Dame, he would argue that Claude Frollo did nothing wrong and that he’s actually the good guy. He would argue that Esmeralda was in the wrong for loving Phoebus and not him.

Here’s a killer idea for a Blitzø x Striker fic: Hunchback of Notre Dame AU, featuring Blitzø as Esmeralda and Striker as Phoebus. And maybe Fizz as Quasimodo; like, he’s the adoptive son of Stolas (Playing Claude Frollo, obviously), and he’s the one who saves Blitzø from the evil Stolas so that he can be with his true love, Striker.

I don’t know why Vivziepop hates Striker stans so much. Oh, you like him and you ship him with Blitzø, because let’s face it, they have way more sexual tension than Blitzø and Stolass? No, you can’t do that! You’re supposed to like Stolitz! Aaand then she decides that Striker is homophobic and a villain because what? Because Stella hired him to kill Stolas? He’s an assassin, the man was just doing his job.

Actually, come to think of it, I DO know why Vivziepop hates Striker stans so much. It’s because she’s constantly bending over backwards to justify Stolas, a literal rapist, being shipped with his victim.

If Blitzø was a woman, almost everyone would agree that Stolas is a rapist. The only reason people don’t see him for what he is is because he’s portrayed as an UwU soft gay bean

I’m gonna say it, Stolas doesn’t love Blitzø, he’s obsessed with him. He enjoys the fantasy of a royal having a secret affair with a commoner, and he feels entitled to engage in this fantasy as and when he pleases without consequences. He knows that he makes Blitzø uncomfortable, and that he doesn’t really want to sleep with him, but he feels entitled to his body and his company anyway. And when he does the bare minimum and gives Blitzø a way out of their fucked up deal, he immediately feels entitled to Blitzø’s love. When his fantasy of being swept away by his ‘true commoner love’ is shattered by the reality that Blitzø doesn’t love him, he has the nerve to cry and play the victim, and act like Blitzø is a bad person for not loving him when all he has ever done is fetishise him for his race and sexually abuse him. Stolas thinks that he deserves Blitzø when he has done nothing to deserve him.

I think one of Vivziepop’s biggest writing problems is that she’s too eager to give the fandom what they want in terms of shipping. There is no reason for Charlie and Vaggie to be together; Vaggie doesn’t like Charlie or any of her friends, but they’re together because someone who worked on the storyboards for the pilot thought that they’d be cute as a couple. Husk and Angel Dust have no reason to be together either, they have nothing in common, Husk is clearly annoyed by Angel Dust and wants him to leave him alone, but they’re going to be forced together because fans started shipping Huskerdust because of the character Instagram pages. Stolas doesn’t deserve Blitzø, and yet because Stolitz is the most popular ship in Helluva Boss, he’s going to get him anyway. Look, I understand wanting to please your fans, but you can’t throw away your artistic integrity just to give people what they want, because that’s how you end up with three ships that don’t make sense.
