I Want to get better but a part of me wants to rot

It feels like I'm in a toxic relationship with my self. It's like there's 2 inside of me. One wants to fix the relationship and the other thinks they're doing enough but they're really, really not. And they're always fighting and ignoring each other when shit gets hard. Never consistent in their efforts, always ready to give up. They're not strong at all. But they need each other to survive.
