What irks me about being asked in a group setting to share my pronouns is that I know that, in gender ideology circles, people will see my identity as a woman (female) as a voluntary agreement to align with the set of stereotypes that are typically assigned to women (female people). They pay lip service to abolishing gender roles, sure, but the facade shatters as soon as they say that they identify as trans because of their masculinity/femininity/lack of them/etc.
Could I suggest that when there is a poll directed towards a certain group like bi women or lesbians that there's not a see results option? I feel like it skews the results and people can just reblog it to see the final results.
I'm sorry Nona, I add it because I'm sure some people would vote regardless and it would make the results less accurate :(
There's a simple way to convert the percentage shown in the poll to the percentage ignoring the "see results" option
Imagine a is the percentage of people who voted option a, b who voted b, etc. Let's say you want to ignore the people who voted for c. Then a/(100-c) should be the percentage of relevant voters of that option.
For example, if a=15% and c=40%, 15/(100-40)=0.25 so the percentage of relevant voters who chose option a would be 25%

aka âI canât escape sexismâ vs âno matter how gnc I am Iâll always be a woman and thatâs awesomeâ
seeing gyns leave radblr makes me sad but ultimately i understand it. this space isn't for people who are extremely sensitive because you will have people say the most despicable shit you could ever think of to you and it's sometimes from other radfems. there's only so much of go kill yourself and you deserved your trauma that one person can take.
for gyns still on here, protect your mental health. here's what i recommend doing if you're gonna be on radblr:
1. if you're extremely sensitive, don't turn anons on. it's not worth it
2. make it to where only people you follow can message you
3. block all the big name tras on here that like harassing radfems like lostelvenqueen and that hobs guy
4. make it to where you only get notified when someone you're mutuals with @'s you
5. do not ever share personal stories on here. i cannot stress this point enough. nobody needs to know the most vulnerable parts of you because tras and radfems who don't like you will use it against you. don't post your stories of sexual assault, abuse, or even about good things in your life. i've made this mistake a few times on here but i try to keep it to a minimum. not everyone on here is your friend with good intentions
6. make it to where only people you follow and people who have been following you for a week can reply to your posts
7. block all hate mail. like hate mail seems funny at first bc it's like ha ha, this person is mad but it eventually becomes extremely mentally taxing and the anons will get more and more disgusting and evil to provoke a response from you. just block them immediately
if any other gyns have advice, please add on.
