Jumping on the evil arin with another theory

He does not actually join Ras, but the offer is tempting. Maybe he even actually considers and to the others it looks like he actually takes it, just for him to turn his back on Ras and rejoin his friends. Not as heavy as the other alternatives, with the only angst coming from the time when the others don‘t know he‘s just pretending yet.

Alternatively: He takes Ras‘ offer, learning shatterspin or some other power. But then he uses it to defeat and actually kill Ras. He decides that he is no longer worthy of being on the team and takes off on his own, woth the others and especially Sora looking for him. Maybe Lloyd also has a breakdown, believing that to his fault. Much angstier than the first version anyway.
