been doing a lot of thinking about Warrior Cats Human au with my friend, so major changes would be when characters are born so not every male character is mining for minors, and how the Dark Forest operates since I don't like that their religion is just a parallel of Christian heaven and hell.

Since of course this is a human au with human lifespans with people who do not develop as quickly as a cat would, characters like Squirrelflight and Leafpool would be born within The Prophecies Begins arc so characters like Brambleclaw are at most 5 years older than them as opposed to 20 years older. Characters like Dovewing/Ivypool and Tigerheart are born around the time The Three are just made apprentices in The Power of Three arc.

For the Dark Forest, I kind of don't want it to really exist? I think a religion where all ancestors are worshipped making a place where their bad ancestors go is weird. What my friend and I have come up with is that the actions of these cats are explained as possession by evil spirits, i.e. Tigerclaw is possessed by a war spirit. Dark Forest training would then become very one-on-one and personalized. Ivypool is 'possessed' by Hawkfrost, targeted by him for the shared feeling of being second best to a sibling (Brambleclaw, Tigerclaw's full Thunderclan son will always be preferred to his half-kittypet, Riverclan son). Breezepelt is targeted by Brokenstar for the hatred of his father. Tigerheart is targeted by Tigerclaw since they are direct kin. Tigerclaw is a spirit of war, Brokenstar greed, Hawkfrost envy, Mapleshade vengeance.
