Inktober 2018, Day 14 and Day 15, sketches of Antonio Vasquez and Diego Escalona from Havenfall is for Lovers. Attempting to practice some anatomy…keyword ATTEMPTING, lmao. I thought it’d take me less time to draw them without shirts on, but it ended up taking longer cause I had no idea what muscles were where and how to shade it. Nonetheless, it was good practice lol…I will keep studying drawing tutorials to improve.

Antonio is so damn romantic, he’s tied in 3rd place for my favorite characters with Renzei cause honestly, I can’t decide between the two of them. Speaking of which…I MISS ANTONIO SO MUCH. I know his season 2 just ended a bit ago, but I miss him already.

BTW! Would you rather have Antonio or Diego bite you? For that very reason, I drew them with their fangs out!

Inktober 2018, Day 13, sketch of Mackenzie Hunt (Havenfall is for Lovers) posing in a suit. I haven’t read her route yet, so I had some help from another Lovestruck fan @schattenfell to decide the outfit. Thank you for the suggestions, the suit turned out great!

Again, similar to Lorelei, I didn’t have much confidence drawing her cause I never read her route, so I’m going by her personality from other routes I’ve read. Even from the small lines of dialogue in Antonio’s route I can tell that Mackenzie is a very caring, yet confident and responsible character.

All the Lovestruck characters have different noses, eyes, brows, face shapes, ect; And, their personalities determine their facial expressions and pose. I’m really enjoying this Inktober challenge I gave myself so far. Even though, I’m several days behind now rip…

Helena: Ich werde dich beschützen

Inktober 2018, Day 9 and Day 10, sketches of MC and Helena in Chicago outfits. I think I finally figured out how to twirl Helena’s hair around and draw it with more Anime-realism versus my older fan arts. So, I’ll try to stick with the style here for future drawings of her. Idk if anyone can read that small phrase of Chinese in the sketch. If not, well…as the MC says, “ignorance is bliss.”

The double meaning of the words from the last post I wanted to analyze is that in Altea’s season 6, letting Helena be free was a physical entity, whereas in Helena’s season 4 it was an emotional, non-concrete entity. Pretty cool, right? xD

Notes: I’m not sure what ethnicity Voltage intended the MC to be canonically, but I’m using the reference from Iseul’s route about her using chopsticks since she was a baby to take a guess that she might be Asian. Thus, with Helena speaking German, I opted for the MC to speak Chinese, cause it felt more romantic to use in this case vs Japanese. And, I only know martial arts vocab in Korean.

not to be a bitter asshole but the overwhelming “my gf is perfect and relationships between women are are all pure and perfect” culture on here is annoying. there are a lot of us out here being used, cheated on, dumped, abused, having communication issues and shitty breakups, and lesbian culture is not a binary of “im alone and pining after an imaginary perfect gf” or “i have a perfect gf”. it does baby lesbians and bi women a disservice. don’t feel like there’s something wrong with you if you have bad dates or weird dates or women treat you like shit or trespass your boundaries and in general don’t act like perfect magical moon princesses and your relationship isn’t a magical dream of cat ownership and cuddling. women are people too, and that means women are flawed too. there are wonderful women out there and you will find one someday to build your life with but there are a lot of assholes out there too, you’re not failing at anything if you date one of them. and you have the capability of being a shitty asshole too!

I spent a lot of my childhood growing up in Taiwan, and for Mother’s Day we were taught that carnation flowers had different meanings based on colors. Each one of us would get a different colored flower based on our family situations. Red colored carnations meant your mother was doing well and healthy. Yellow carnations meant your mother was ill or had other issues. And, finally…white carnations meant that your mother had passed away.
