I Have A Riverbed Behind My House That Me And A Friend Hang Out In, It Winds Through Properties, And
I have a riverbed behind my house that me and a friend hang out in, it winds through properties, and under the railway onto council land. I'm not sure if it's completely legal since it borders the fence to the mines, but no one's caught us yet.
It's so sad that there are very few places anyone can go that provide that perfect secret little hideaway somewhere in th woods. Everything is someones property, public parks that are just grass, or housing developments now. I just want to be able to take a short walk from my house to some (not even that deep) woods and find a cool tree and make it my hang out spot and to walk along the naturally forming paths from other people and animals taking time to actually enjoy nature.

Sometimes my party just resorts to doing shit that gets us nowhere and I, the voice of reason, just stand there like: yep, there's a big fucking wendigo right in front of you, and you're in a dead end and you're analyzing the type of rocks in the wall.
One third of my party is trying to work out dnd beyond, another is trying to run from a wendigo, and me and the artificer are just standing in the safe zone like: We are surrounded by idiots.
Hey, I'm making a script for an alterhuman/nonhuman live action movie, and I have a couple basic ideas for other works including alterhuman/nonhuman representation. There's also this really cool book called "The Boy Who Wanted to be a Deer" it's a children's book by Ember White about a boy who wants to be a deer, obviously lol. It encompasses the fear of being bullied and wanting to express yourself, as well as depression. At the end of the book, he finds himself and ends up living a happy life as a deer in the woods. It's not a well-loved book, but it's a good introduction to alterhumanity/nonhumanity to children as well as a good book in general.
I want to see more long and in depth writing about alterhumanity and theriantrophy. the experience, the discovery and growing up alterhuman, the community, all of it!! the sillier side of the community is great and all, and feels relaxed and comfy,,, but I do really want to see deeper dives on the experience and why we feel this way
I would love if anyone could point me towards writings or videos like this if they've created some or know someone who has, and I think I probably will in the future ... I might make video essays of my own, who knows?
Hello there dear child how would you like to get to know a wendigo? :3
Alterhumans of any kind please interact, I’d like to meet more people. Especially space/alien/monsterous aligned folks.
Other than that, looking for general people to follow.
I honestly thought I was being a fake therian when I forced shifts, but I realised I could do whatever the heck I wanted because it was my indentity and I can wag my tail if I want to
The whole idea that forcing shifts is bad and something you shouldn't do really irks me ngl. Like yeah, if you're using it as a way to determine kintypes that's definitely not the best route to go down, but with already confirmed kintypes idk what everyone's issue is. Personally, I don't get shifts of any kind too often, so by forcing them, specifically in the case of phantom shifts, I'm able to relieve some of my species dysphoria that I may not otherwise have an outlet for. If anything, I think actively trying to get yourself to shift rather than passively waiting for one to happen (not that there's anything wrong with that) is further proof of your desire to be connected to your nonhumanity.
