His arms, thick with muscle, could easily wrap around her and as he started his way back over to her, she had to remind herself to breathe once more. I really need to get laid. He settled himself in the chair across from her with only the tiny table in between them as she readied herself for an awkward conversation.

“So,” she began, “thank you for responding to my ad!”

“I might have mentioned it before, but I actually need someone to help me in the uh, dating department as well.” he mumbled, a small blush forming across his nose. “Not that this is real dating, I mean, that we are helping each other out.” He’s so cute.

“I understand.” Kagome couldn’t help herself and giggled at him. “Look, this is simply a business deal between two people, if that makes you feel more comfortable.”

“Sure. Can I ask why someone like you is looking to do this?” He asked, tilting his head and Kagome had to refrain herself from squealing, when it dawned on her just what he asked.

“Like me?”

“You’re attractive and nice. You clearly could get any guy here, so why do you need to hire someone?”

“I could ask you the same.” Kagome shocked even herself with her response, but she was feeling bold, causing Inuyasha to choke on his tea.

Started working on an fake dating inukag fic this past week, so I decided to share a little bit with y’all! Happy Saturday my beautiful people! 🌸

Squinting, Kagome moaned as her alarm blared, breaking the morning silence. Is there really a reason that I should be getting up this early? Hitting the snooze button, she rolled back over, content to sleep for another fifteen minutes when a soft ping came from her phone. Rubbing her eyes, Kagome sighed and glared at her ceiling. I guess sleeping in is out of the question.

Figuring it was her boss asking her to come in, Kagome took her sweet time getting out of bed. Wiggling her toes and stretching her hands up high, she yawned and blinked rapidly, pushing the last of sleep from her eyes. Strolling into her bathroom, she stared at her reflection in the mirror, internally repeating her daily positive statement. I am beautiful and I am enough. Taking a deep breath, she heard her phone notifying her once more. I really need to turn my phone off more.

Heading to her dresser, she unplugged her phone and crawled back into bed, pulling her thick comforter over her body. Swiping the screen, she frowned at the unusually high amount of emails and notifications. Quickly answering Sango’s text about lunch, she opened her email to see the top twelve emails responding to her ad. Frowning, she opened the first one, wrinkling her nose at the crude suggestion. Scrolling down, she clicked on the original post.
