He gasped awake while feeling his body shake. He was having a recurring dream where he killed his jedi. It was getting worse the further into the war they got.

He closed his eyes and saw Anakin laying on the ground with unseeing eyes and a puddle of blood surrounding him.

He felt a shiver rack his frame and he looked over. Anakin was still peacefully sleeping next to him.

He reached out and gently pressed a hand against his heart. It was still beating and he sighed in relief.

Anakin still wasn't awake, so he gently pressed his Generals face into his chest and snuggled him.

He had been doing reports when Fives texted him late at night. He sighed while looking at the text and debating if he should ignore it or not. It was about condoms and normally he would ignore his brother.

However he knew how important condoms were and as Fives captain, he needed to make sure his men were safe. Even if they were the ones having sex and it should be there problem and responsibility.

After sighing again he finished his report, and went to the nearest store.

He ignored the awful bright lights and the terrible, generic pop music while quickly walking down the aisles. He felt a little embarrassed when he grabbed the condoms. Even though he shouldn't be, it's not like they were for him.

He quickly turned the corner without paying attention and ran into someone.

He looked up in shock and nearly died when he came face to face with his general. He cursed his luck and Fives for putting him into this situation.

He looked at his General and found him holding a bag of chips, candy and a terrible rom com.

He quickly snapped his hand up in a salute saying.

"Sir."

However when he felt the box of condoms brush against his head. He cringed and looked at his General while wishing the ground would swallow him up.

General Skywalker stared at him and the box of condoms while blushing.

"H--how's it going Rex?"

He glanced at the box of condoms before quickly saying.

"There not for me there for Fives. I just want to make sure he is being safe and using protection."

General Skywalker nodded and even smiled a little. He didn't want it to get awkward, so he quickly changed the subject.

"Are you having a movie night?"

"Yeah, I was planning on watching something with Ahsoka."

His General looked at him before asking.

"Do you want to come?"

Without thinking he quickly said.

"Yes."

Anakin smiled and pulled him to the cash register.

"Great, I can give you a ride if you want."

He was about to shake his head, before Fives popped into his mind. He was getting condoms for the man, and he was the reason he was put in this awkward situation. So he might as well embarrass him as payback.

"Sure, but we need to make a quick stop along the way."

"Okay."

He watched his General check out his stuff while thinking.

"Tonight is going to be fun."

He awoke to Rex next to him and smiled. His husband gave him an adoring smile before kissing him. He smiled into the kiss and brought Rex closer.

His husband pulled back a little and rubbed his hip.

"Good morning."

He blushed and Rex leaned down to kiss his neck. He moved his head out of the way and sighed. He loved waking up with Rex. It was moments like these where he could forget the war.
