"but aces and aros can be in relationships"
Yes, I know that, but do YOU know that aces and aros in relationships are still aces and aros? Do you internalize that? Are you aware that we don't just suddenly turn straight, or gay or anything else?
Yes, even demis
Are you aware that a sex repulsed asexual will still be sex repulsed even in a relationship, and so, might never fuck you?
Are you aware that a romance repulsed aro will still be romance repulsed even in a seemingly normative relationship and might not like doing typical romantic gestures and activities?
Are you aware that a sex neutral or positive asexual might not actually be sexually attracted to you at all even if they do fuck you?
Are you aware that a romance neutral or positive aro might not actually be romantically into you even if they are comfortable with typical romantic gestures?
Are you aware that our identities are just as permanent as yours?
I think if you’re constantly painting femmes with the same broad strokes about us being shallow, materialistic jerks who don’t care about returning that energy to our partners, you might be attracted to us, but I don’t think you actually like us. You don’t see us as individuals with variation. You’re just busy spreading misogyny 2.0 against femmes you don’t like when they aren’t exactly the type you think we should be.
But we aren’t set pieces for your life, meant to be the perfect and ideologically correct partner. We’re our own people being femme in ways unique to us. You cannot respect us without respecting that femme identity is just as complex as butch/stud identity.
New Sylvanian, still need a name for her pls leave suggestions (silly names only)
if the butch woman doesn’t receive tenderness and good faith, it’s not a community space. if the brown woman doesn’t receive tenderness and good faith, its not a community space. if the trans woman doesn’t receive tenderness and good faith, it’s not a community space. and if the brown butch trans woman doesn’t receive tenderness and good faith? it’s about as good as an insurance company with a pride sticker smacked on top of the logo
single femmes who stay inside all day and only go out to go to work, daydreaming about a butch just randomly bumping into them in the way the romantic movies do. i just want to let you know you are real, seen, and loved.
