genuine question
when did scene get considered a 2010s thing?? bc to me the time line went
2003- scene started as a subset of emo
2005- scene started getting popular (roughly)
2007- scene is at its peak of popularity
2012- scene starts dying down
2014- the trail end of the scenes popularity
I could be wrong but for a subculture started on and popularised by MySpace (which died around 2006 according to my dad) it feels weird for it to be a 2010s thing?? especially bc the 2010s would be 2010-2019 and by my judgement it'd be around a lot longer in the 2000s
