Grant at a place called the Blue Cauldron
Funny glowing hole in the ground
Some plants! The beast/dragon palm and sword grass are associated with sandy coastal areas. The lily is associated with plains or meadows
The fruit of the palms are dangerous, the spines on them embed in skin and then break off, they leak an irritant too... One that causes a burning sensation. Despite all that, the fruits are safe to eat (once the spines are taken off) and quite good too.
Sword grass is ultra sharp, can be used as a blade, like a sword, hence the name.
The 3rd plant is known as Lillian/Lillith's flower and it's insanely toxic. It's delicate, gets damaged easily which makes the toxic plant juices leak out, and they easily absorb into skin. They also take effect very quickly. In short, Lillian's flower is a very "AVOID THIS, IT WILL KILL YOU" plant.
There's a little .... saying? rhyme? (I forget what they're called...) about those flowers:
"Lillian, lillian Some legends say she did it on purpose, others say she was a victim of foul play
Regardless of which it was, those flowers gained a new name that day~"
Bebes. They're such cute idiots.
4th pic is supposed to be drawn by Raph
(Mentioning as always: pink honse is my friend's character!)
(Posting separate from previous post for reasons)
I don't know why I opted for that dialogue
Various older arts made for my friend, blood, @sinister-echoes on here! These are several of her chars and 3 of them are her species. (Chars in 1st pic aren't her species, they're another friend's)
Another art trade done with a friend, the same friend that this trade was done with
Marissa and Marcus eventually get together and have a kid. That kid is Morgan.
Friend's character
Cueball is a little weirdo and I forever love his design. He is Very Creature
Wing shape things, there was gonna be a 4th one of Marissa but I never finished the sketch for it.
They are-
Marcus: Falcons
Grant: Condors
Sabrina: Albatrosses
Marissa's wings are shaped like an owl's. Rounded, like her features overall.
Temple of the moth
Technically unfinished (hence the rough look), but I've always liked this despite that. Has a very "big" feel and I don't do that kind of thing often
Maybe one day I'll take a shot at redoing it, but for now it stands like this
ANOTHERRRRR ART TRADE done with a friend
Jeger ref, this was the first time I drew him. It's mostly accurate. I'll make a new ref for him eventually tho. But for now, a combo of this and newer arts of him work for ref
Nothing lasts
SHINY MOTH SHINY MOTH SHINY MOTH and shiny moth baby (in my favorite retina searing colors)
