So a while ago I almost drew AA4 Ema but instead drew Maya so yesterday when I felt like drawing again I decided to draw Ema!
I drew her disappointed (or at least tried to, still gotta work on drawing emotions) and I don't mind how it turned out though I think her torso is unfortunately a bit small... oh well hopefully my next drawing of her looks better! Also I drew her with freckles because in my mind that makes sense for her.
Now time for a potentially controversial opinion... Ema Skye is my favourite detective. To be clear, love Gumshoe, he's great, wonderful guy, but, interacting with Ema in AJ/AA4 and, seeing her being so fucken jaded, so done with life (than again who isn't in AJ, everyone is depressed in that game), and everyone around her, leads to a lot of interesting interactions and, I would on purpose present random shit to her because her reactions where always worth seeing imo.
I think of course her being in 1-5 adds a lot to this as we know how hopeful she was as a teen and now, she's the same age Phoenix was at that point (well technically a year older but still) and well, even he's not doing well but she clearly still cares about him as the white powder (which I'm fully convinced Phoenix made sound like something illegal to Apollo on purpose to mess with him) makes her go from being a brick wall to Trucy and Apollo to being super helpful.
I also love her design so much, even if her pants are peak mid-late 2000's (which checks out given the year this game released) her look still slays and fits her character so well!
I could probably go on longer but I think you all get why I like Ema so much (at least I hope!) and I hope you enjoyed this post!
