Aaron Sparks ran moonshine for a friend in the 70s at the age of 18, using a 1970 Dodge Daytona he bought a couple years earlier, named Black Thunder. After about a decade of running moonshine and making good money, Aaron settled down and married at 30, buying stock in toilet paper as a backup fund if he lost his job, earning almost 20 million by the time he retired. At the age of 34 Aaron’s first and only child, Karen, was born; thirteen years later, Aaron’s wife Vera sadly died to cancer. By the time his grandson Darrin was five, Aaron took over as father figure when Darrin’s father left, caring for him and teaching him right and wrong and when Darrin was fifteen Aaron gave him the Daytona, hoping the old runner could get some practical use out of it.

The rhyming names was something I did by accident so now it's canon that all the first-born Sparks children have rhyming names.
