While obviously still being my shots, the next few posts will take on a more abstract feel (some more some less). The weather was splendid, so most of the effects came easy enough, and, if not for fear of copyright infringements, I might have called the series after a certain group of artists originating from Montreal. Now out of sheer geographical reference, i.e. the location, I'll assemble them under the tag above art.

this concludes my (more or less) abstract parenthesis. I will return to this series with some shots (maybe a sub-series), though, that are more me, upon the presentation of which I have to agree first. until then formidable randomness will occur.....

stelae

So this is it, the final instalment from atop the 'Art and exhibition hall of the Federal Republic of Germany'. I decided to ditch most of the shots and just go with these two, out of which one is desaturated, again... also, to present them side by side, and not as single entries. Deciding on this took quite the time, but anything else just didn't feel like being to the point. This most clearly represents what I had in mind..... I hope to general enjoyment.

These towers/columns/stelae were built as a way to capture light, which then gets redistributed throughout the whole building. On the homepage, they tell you about the threefold of architecture, painting and sculpture.... nicely put. But: photography much? Capturing light? Well, so far.....
