law is one of those terrifying people who dry swallow / chew angrily on pills, no matter the size. for him, the bitter the better & usually, the stronger the dose is.
Disability rights should extend to people who did that to themselves. To the bloke who got paralysed because he was trying to do a dumb trick on his skateboard, to the person who has diabetes because they ate unhealthily, yes even to those people who got blinded at that NFT convention.
As an on again off again alcoholic who has tried and tried again at recovery, I find myself in a space now where I'm starting to lose my liver function, and I'm now therefore chronically ill. And it sucks, I've tried medication that just exacerbated my mental health issues and I'm signing up for my fourth AOD service. It will always be my fault that I'm chronically ill, but the idea that there are good disabled people and bad disabled people kicks people like me out in the cold.
I think everyone deserves equal opportunity to access disability services, get government pensions, use mobility aids, etc etc, without people going 'actually, you did this to yourself'.
We had a presentation on fentanyl recently
It made me think about a lot. My grandmother. My mother. Myself
Because of my nervous system dopamine deficiencies I have a higher chance of becoming an addict than most
Even if a drug is barely laced with Fentanyl it can and will probably kill you in an instant
I made a promise to not do drugs of any kind. I plan on keeping that promise
But shit man a 14 year old with ADD dies because he tried to take drugs to relax his symptoms and then dies less than two weeks after getting his hands on said drugs will fuck with me forever

The brother of Hellbent’s player character, Judah! The outfits here are his standard, work uniform, and cold weather/ashfall ones. He’s the platonic route option out of the five total relationship routes. (Warning for mentions of suicide/addiction under the cut.)
Judah is a trans man who survived being kicked out at 15 and his subsequent heroin addiction and suicide attempt that left him with a TBI and a missing eye. He’s a dauntless and fierce individual who never backs down on his convictions, which makes him both principled and a little too aggressive and rigid. His passions lie in fishkeeping and writing, as well as paying what he views as a debt to his brother for working to care for him when he was hospitalized. He possesses a power called Othersight that robs him of the ability to see color in exchange for the ability to see people’s auras. It also lets him see certain strange otherdimensional beings on occasion, but he doesn’t particularly enjoy that. (Click here if you’re interested in commissioning a character sheet for your own OC!)
