If i were to rewrite miraculous, i’d start off the love square in the opposite direction.

Think about it this way - there’s this whole theory that in love you search for what you lacked from your childhood. Adrien lacked normality and a loving family, he was forced to act as this perfect model child. Marinette is perhaps the opposite- has loving parents who encouraged her to speak up for herself and is unapologetically imperfect- she’s clumsy, awkward and isn’t terrified to speak up when something seems wrong.

On the other hand, Marinette lacked confidence. She had this bubbly personality that she had to hide in school due to her bullies. Chat is very outwardly himself, not afraid to make bad jokes and make a fool of her self, and it would inspire her to do the same.

Idk i just think it’d be cute for them to start their love through this aspiration and as they grow as people and learn to accept their flaw and come out of their shell, to start noticing the other half of the square? Idk i’m talking out my ass rn
