Funny how he doesn't outright deny it. Truth be told, he knows his own shortcomings--and a desperate desire to fill an undefined hole by surrounding himself with people is one of them.

Well, that's a funny thing to say. And kind of out of nowhere. Cluing into conversations simply by being there is one thing ( that also isn't out of the ordinary for him ), but this is... Well, he's not entirely sure. Silly, probably.

‧₊˚ ⋅ ꒰১ ᯓ ☆ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤ𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒂𝒏 𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒂. Sure, he was MORE attuned to the otherworldly than most people were, he still wasn't quite at his mum's level yet. There was definitely a possibility he was missing SOMETHING.

It's strange, really, to come to the conclusion that the cafe has something going on, enough to call in an expert on the supernatural. He's not really sure what to expect, but if it is ghosts, at least he and his Zoroark might have an advantage. If it's not, then... Well, he's not really sure what to do in that case.

˚ʚ ☾ ɞ˚ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤㅤ𝑯𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒆𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒓 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒃𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕 he was really strange. But there was a perfectly reasonable explanation for his current working condition. He was probably a bit too young but that was OKAY !

˚ʚ ☾ ɞ˚ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤㅤ❛ㅤI help clean the floors at my Grandpa's hotel ! Oh, and sometimes, I help guests check in and carry their luggage to their rooms ! It's hard work but I DON'T mind !ㅤ❜

...Well, he supposes he can relate to that in a way, considering that he has been put on dish cleaning duty more times than he cares to count since moving to Tokyo. But it still seems like an odd way of phrasing it. Briefly he's reminded of Jose's mannerisms.

The only thing he was really worried about was the possibility of it being a STRONG ghost Pokémon or perhaps even multiple strong ghost Pokémon. After all, he had no idea how this guy's ability as a Pokémon trainer wasㅤ—ㅤor if he even WAS one.

˚ʚ ☾ ɞ˚ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤㅤ❛ㅤO - Okay ! Thanks ! I'll follow you !ㅤ❜

He's not so much afraid as he is curious. If it's just a ghost Pokemon, then that means there's an easy explanation, one that can be easily taken care of with a simple relocation. He quietly gestures for the other to follow him.

‧₊˚ ⋅ ꒰১ ᯓ ☆ㅤ˗ˏˋㅤ❛ㅤOh, I get a LOT out of it ! I get to talk to the guests and hear all about their travels ! It's really fun !ㅤ❜

It just seems like a LOT for a kid to do on their own. A part of him wonders what sort of man the younger's grandfather must be like--or at the very least what the rest of the staff must be going through. It just seems like hell.
