Best to worst hugger in hxh:
1. Leorio
He has long arms and a fatherly spirit, which really is just he best combination for hugs.
2. Gon
He has so much love in his very small body and he lets it out in bear hugs.
3. Alluka/Nanika
They both seem like they would give great hugs, 10/10 would definitely hug on sight.
4. Killua
Due to his emotional constipation and horrible childhood Killua probably hasn’t hugged or been hugged very much, but as an older brother and a friend of Gon he has to have gotten pretty good at it.
5. Kurapika
He is NOT a good hugger, and the only reason he isn’t lower on the list is because the other two are just horrible at hugging.
6. Illumi
I imagine hugging Illumi would feel as nice and safe as hugging a splintered wooden board.
7. Hisoka
Awful, -100/10. He’s probably already groping you, pull away!

When Killua goes off with Gon, they both stay with Leorio
Alluka is older, but Kalluto acts like the older sibling
Sometimes Alluka tags along with Kalluto to troupe meetings
Kurapika likes to send threats via both of them bc nothing is weirder than this adorable 10 year old girl threatening to kill you and every one you love
Machi complains about having to “babysit” Alluka but not so secretly likes it
Kalluto comes to know all of Nanikas rules and has more or less the same bond as killua does with Nanika
Someone (most likely phinks tbh) called Alluka a boy/a transphobic slur and Kalluto punched them
Kalluto makes Alluka origami
Kalluto was fucking pissed when Killua left to take the hunters exam
Not for himself, but because he knew that Killua was the only one who could get Alluka out

And Killua has basically announced to his family by refusing to let her live the way she was before that He’s fine with her. She IS HIS FAMILY. So if you don’t think of her as family, neither am I and I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. LIKE he has rejected them so hard. Like bruh Go Killua save yo sis this is so wholesome.
