johnny depp and his legal team brought up how AH ‘failed to donate the $7M settlement to charity as promised’ as a way to attack her credibility. nevermind that AH had to pay shit tons of money in legal fees to defend from depp’s attacks in the US and UK. but now unsealed court documents show that depp and AH never signed a prenup before their marriage, entitling her to ½ of depp’s earnings from a POTC movie filmed in 2015 (probably around $33M). AH declined, and said she didn’t want the money.
ultimately, in the divorce, against advice of her attorneys, she settled for far less than she was entitled to, and then donated sizable portions of that to charity
and if you’ll remember, depp LITERALLY didn’t want to pay her this much lower figure!!! he tried to argue that he should be able to donate it directly to charity, rather than giving to AH to do with as she saw fit.

Though Depp’s team spent many hours of the trial trying to paint Heard as the abuser in the relationship, an unsealed motion by Depp’s team opposing a mental examination of Depp argued that the actor should not be subjected to an independent medical examination, “Because Mr. Depp Is Not Alleging Harm Based On A Specific Physical or Mental Injury.”
Depp’s team further claimed that, “Mr. Depp does not allege a specific cause of action for intentional or negligent infliction of emotional distress; does not assert that Ms. Heard’s actions caused him a specific psychiatric injury; and does not claim that Ms. Heard’s actions caused him to experience unusually severe emotional distress.”
Hmmm. So AH is the abuser, but depp wasn’t actually injured by the abuse? so depp got out of doing a psych eval, while AH was subjected to a psych eval.

im fucking fuming over this i cant even lie like what the actual fuck is this. straight up evil behavior. also good job literally flat out admitting amber was indeed abused by depp since u fully acknowledged that she suffers from ptsd and that the ptsd is directly related/linked to him. literally just proudly telling us that ”yeah i knew he had abused amber and that amber has ptsd from it so i decided that we should try to give her panic attacks and just totally torment her like wouldnt it be so funny to give her flashbacks so she feels like shes being raped again lol she will look so craaazyyy” like honestly kill urself
I went to the movie theater yesterday to see Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom and as I expected it, Mera was the best part of it. Her scenes were the best, she's clearly the best fighter and she is not exploited as her fair value.
It's so sad that Amber Heard has been sidelined considering How much she loves Mera. It would have been epic to see her fight with the dark trident, corrupted Mera would have been such a good trope.
Anyway, I want to watch Mera and I was not satisfied but I was happy to support Amber in this project.
