Pretty much all of the TVC characters have probably felt like they were “breaking free” of someone at some point in this series. These bitches be coming and going like nobody’s business.
Let’s focus on Louis leaving Armand to go back to Lestat. For as much as Louis felt confined by Lestat in their relationship, I have to imagine that his relationship with Armand felt tenfold more controlling and wing-clipping, in the grand scheme of things.

I mean, Armand’s private resort in Miami? I’m not the only one getting Night Island vibes, right?
This song is a metaphor about Florida being an escape, a solace, a drug. That’s exactly how I imagine Armand and the other vampires feel about the Night Island.

Being an iwtv show enjoyer without ever reading Anne Rice is blissful ignorance, I don't have to think about what they might or might not include, the characters and how the casting might or might not fit; I don't have to think about anything ever! I just get to enjoy the show! Yay!!!
I honestly want to know what will be Daniel's reaction when Armand talks about their past romance because all I can think about is Beyoncé's Best Thing I Never Had.

It’s the fact that Armand straight up said “She won’t be here very long.” regarding about Claudia, HEAVILY implying that him and the coven are going to off her pretty soon and Louis STILL being together with Armand till this day?!
Like, Louis he literally admitted he is going to murder your daughter!
Armand, I will admit I don’t know much about you but you trying to convince me that Lestat said “I love you too.” is hilarious.
Like, did you two had sex centuries ago? Probably did happen, sure why not 🤷🏾♀️ But him saying “I love you too.” This is where I draw the line in the sand.

Okay, it’s official I’m in love with Armand.
It is mostly due to the fact that I know exactly how he feels because I’ve been in a relationship like this. I was basically someone’s rebound for 3 months, I can’t imagine being someone’s rebound for 77 years.
Hell, even Louis and Armand whole argument also hits close to home “THIS IS BORING! YOU’RE BORING! YOU. ARE SO. BORING! COLORLESS, FLAVORLESS, DULL.” Yup, I definitely heard those words before but unlike Armand I didn’t had a quick comeback or anything to say. I just took it.
What I’m basically saying, Louis, you don’t love Armand as you claim to and Armand you need to stop chasing a love that was never yours and never will be.

Say what you want about Brad Pitt’s Louis but his reaction of finding Claudia’s body just gets me every time. The way he flings to the nearest wall the moment he sees her dust corpse is soul crushing, he knew Claudia is already dead but he had to see it for himself.
And Jacob Anderson’s Louis didn’t even get a chance to see his Claudia! The last time he saw her alive was him getting dragged away. He didn’t even get to keep her ashes, all he has is her last piece of clothing.
