Literally, the only good thing about Yashahime is that the “villain” is pretty.
Kirinmaru’s character design is pretty, especially his hair.
Now if only his hair was better animated. It looks so stiff whenever he moves or there’s breeze around. It’s painful to watch.
Like....does Sunrise just not know how to animate curly hair moving in the wind???

“you want to buy suna rintaro many jelly sticks and give him lots of kisses.”
suna’s attempt at persuasion was cut short by your laughter, a small smile hinting at his face.
“god is that you?” peaking one eye open, you saw him leaning over the couch armrest you currently resided on.
he walked around the side of the couch to where you were laying. wrapping one arm around your back, another under your knees. picking you up, he walked with you to the front door.
“hey, where ya taking me?” like second nature, your arms were already around his neck. keeping yourself steady against his chest as he struggled to open the front door.
the front door that was now harder to open with one hand. the front door that you wanted to have two extra locks on.
“god had a wish that you would buy suna rintaro jelly sticks.” he finally unlocked the final lock, expression still holding the small smile.
“i don’t think god wants that.” you swayed slightly in his arms as he walked down the stairs of the apartment building.
he shook his head as you passed under the unlit streetlights, few cars passing by on the road.
he carried you in silence down the sidewalk, not caring about the eyes of the people around you.
“i don’t have my wallet so i can’t pay.” he glared down at you. a glare you rarely gotten unless he was upset.
he took a quick right step, turning his body around to walk the same path he just took.
you stared up at him in confusion. “the store is the opposite way.”
he didn’t respond, waiting until he was closer to your shared apartment.
“...you can put me down now too if you want.”
still, no response.
“rin. answer me.” slightly hitting his chest, your eyes finally met his.
“we are going back to get your wallet because you ate my jelly sticks. and no i am going to keep carrying you so you don’t run away.”
your mouth gaped a bit in response, not getting a say as he turned his head back to face the sidewalk.
“fine, but you can only get a single bag of them. it’s god’s will after all.”
hearing is humorous laugh, you stuff you face back into his chest. last time, he bought an entire case of jelly sticks, his reason being that they go out of stock sometimes and he doesn’t want to go out and buy them all the time.
“that’s fair. god agrees.”
