reblog defeat the boss but it would be after mc bothers me for long enough that i say ugh okay go do this impossible task and when they do i'm going to be just flabbergasted cause it was supposed to be impossible and of course i don't have anything actually important or useful to give them so i say keep the loot and maybe give them some token of friendship and then waaay later i show up in a totally unrelated scenario when mc is stuck with some weird puzzle or roadblock and i go hey i remember you let me help you i help them with the roadblock and after that i am never mentioned again
