my parents moved to a town that just cracked 2k people in the 2020 census and yet that place used to have TWO fucking train stations!
and now the local transit system only runs twice a day to bring you to the nearest transit hub
which is one of those weird 'spur' sites that is already out of the way
and you miss the trains that bring you to an actual city
not one with 8k people
and if you don't have anyone to teach you how to drive you are shit out of luck if you wanna get out of town
the roads are not safe for cyclists
